Prologue
The vast Hao Mang world.
On the Desolation Continent, deep within the southern Earthfire Mountain Range, lava flows like crimson blood, winding its way through the land.
The Earthfire Mountain Range stretches for tens of thousands of miles, the ground quaking and mountains shaking, rumbling endlessly, as if the end of days has arrived.
In the north of the continent, a terrifying demonic shadow slowly takes form in the depths of the void. Wherever its gaze falls, all light seems to vanish, and darkness devours everything.
In the west, from the depths of the extreme cold underground, a roar echoes out, causing all beasts to tremble, pressing their foreheads to the hard earth in submission.
At the mouth of a volcano, constantly spewing scorching magma, a three-legged bronze cauldron radiating dazzling light floats high above. The cauldron is enormous, as if it could cover the sky and block out the sun. Ferocious fire dragons and evil jiaos are carved on its surface, exuding a vast, ocean-like aura of blood, wildly writhing, savagely and greedily pulling and drawing in nine blazing flames erupting from the volcano.
The nine deep red flames are each connected to a source pool of fire within the Earthfire Mountain Range. At this moment, as if forcibly seized, they shoot straight toward the cauldron and vanish within.
Inside the cauldron, a bizarre and colorful miniature world exists.
Countless unknown, resplendent, and mysterious ancient runes emit a primordial, vast, and distant aura, like billions of deities, fluttering like butterflies in the vast world within the cauldron.
A large, radiant pill, interwoven with lightning and divine light, contains nine threads of flame weaving ceaselessly within.
The pill continuously twists and trembles, splashing out multicolored points of memory light. Within each point, scenes unfold—each a segment of a life’s experience.
The many points of light, like brilliant fireworks, vanish in an instant.
“Senior brother, the effect of the Reincarnation Pill is wrong!”
Suddenly, a shrill wail comes from within the pill, a cluster of blurry gray shadow emerging.
The wail is first filled with panic, then anger, and finally despair and sorrow.
“Of course it’s wrong.” Dylan Grant’s expression is indifferent as he quietly gazes at the Reincarnation Pill that bears all the soul imprints of Logan Clark, and softly says, “Farewell, my good junior brother.”
The massive pill suddenly contracts in a bizarre and extreme way, the nine threads of flame within flaring brightly, as if tearing through space and time.
In the end, the pill condenses to the size of a grain of rice, then bursts forth with a blinding divine light—and disappears.
A few days later, the Medicine God Sect announces to the world that Logan Clark lost control during alchemy and his soul was scattered.
The position of sect master of the Medicine God Sect is taken over by his senior brother, Dylan Grant.

Chapter One: The Soul Returns!
Three hundred years later.
Qianxuan Continent, Silver Moon Empire, Dark Moon City, The Brooks Family Town.
The night is deep.
Around the ancestral hall of the The Brooks Family, a family renowned for medicinal herbs, the wind howls and dead leaves swirl.
“Soul, return! Soul, return!”
An old man in gray, thin and withered, shakes a bronze bell as he circles the ancestral hall. With the bell’s “ding-dong” sound, he occasionally lets out a gloomy, deep howl, like an evil spirit weeping in the nine netherworlds.
At the four corners of the ancestral hall stand four soul-summoning banners, fluttering in the wind. The ghosts painted on the banners bare their fangs and claws, as if about to break free and devour someone.
After a long time, the old man stops in silence and gently shakes his head at the The Brooks Family’s old master, indicating his helplessness.
The old master Cameron Brooks, whose legs were broken years ago, sits paralyzed in a wooden wheelchair, his face full of sorrow. “Mr. Foster, is it true that my grandson will never return?”
Gavin Foster puts away the bronze bell, glances at the ancestral hall, and after a moment of silence, says, “Every person is born with three souls: Heaven, Earth, and Human. The Earth Soul gathers memories, the Heaven Soul awakens wisdom, and the Human Soul controls the fleshly body, all actions, and cultivation.”
“Young Master Brooks… is different from others. I determined long ago that of his three souls, only the Human Soul was innate.”
“As for the Earth Soul and Heaven Soul, for reasons unknown, they never manifested.”
“These years, Young Master Brooks has always struggled to remember past events, unable to recall lessons or studies—all because the Earth Soul is missing, so life experiences and memories cannot be imprinted and gathered.”
“As for his muddled state and erratic behavior, it is because the Heaven Soul has not awakened, leaving his wisdom… in chaos.”
“Yet, while the Earth and Heaven Souls are important, the Human Soul is the key to life and death. The Human Soul, also called the Life Soul or Main Soul—if it does not perish, the person does not die.”
“Even in a muddled state, with no memory of the past, as long as the Human Soul remains, Young Master Brooks has safely lived seventeen years.”
“But now, the real problem is with the Human Soul!”
Every word from Gavin Foster is like a sharp blade stabbing into Cameron Brooks’s heart, causing him unbearable pain and tears to stream down his face.
