Chapter 9

Logan Clark gave a chilling smile and raised his right fist: "Is this your last words?"

Hugh Rowe and Jason Sun, seeing this, were not alarmed but delighted instead—Logan Clark was finally provoked enough to make the first move! Afraid that Logan Clark might change his mind, the two of them started hurling insults, calling him an old dog and a useless waste.

"Damn it!" Logan Clark snapped coldly, raised his fist, and charged straight at Hugh Rowe.

"Whoa, you useless young master, what are you doing? Stop right now, or I'll have to fight back!" Hugh Rowe even deliberately stepped back a few paces to make it look like he was being forced to defend himself.

Jason Sun crossed his arms and laughed, imagining that Hugh Rowe would have no trouble dealing with Logan Clark.

Logan Clark rushed forward, unleashed Tiger Battle Four Forms, and with one punch, four shadows appeared—five iron fists struck out at once.

"Combat technique!" The smile on Hugh Rowe's face hadn't even faded before it turned to sheer panic. In a flurry, he raised his fist to block, but all that could be heard was the cracking of bones—his arm was shattered by Logan Clark's punch, and he was sent flying by the tremendous force.

Chapter 5: The Way to Make Money

"Ah—" Hugh Rowe landed hard on his backside, letting out a wail like a ghost, cold sweat pouring down his forehead.

"How is this possible!" Jason Sun was so shocked his mouth hung half open. Although he couldn't recognize that Logan Clark was using one of the Lin family's secret techniques, the Tiger Shadow Fist, only martial techniques could create such an illusion of force!

And to practice martial techniques, the minimum requirement was the Tiger Strength Realm!

Could it be that Logan Clark had already reached the Tiger Strength Realm? If he had just entered the fourth level of the acquired stage, there was no way he could have mastered a martial technique in time! If so, Logan Clark must be incredibly deep and cunning to have hidden it so well.

Jason Sun was both angry and terrified. He said, "Logan Clark, you dare hit someone from Young Master Dongping's side? You're in for big trouble!"

"Hit? You're being a bit too self-deluded!" Logan Clark's voice was icy as he leapt at Jason Sun.

"You little bastard, don't get too full of yourself!" Jason Sun wasn't all that afraid. The reason Hugh Rowe lost in one move was mostly because Logan Clark caught him off guard—otherwise, he wouldn't have been so easily defeated!

He swung his fist with all his might and shouted, "Old Luo, stop wailing like a ghost and help me take down this little bastard!"

"Ah! Ah!" Hugh Rowe was crying and sniffling, his arm completely shattered—how could he possibly fight? He wasn't exactly strong-willed; otherwise, even if his hand couldn't move, he could at least try kicking!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Logan Clark and Jason Sun exchanged several blows. Jason Sun finally realized for sure that Logan Clark's strength was at least equal to his—no, even stronger! He thought to himself, "This little bastard has been hiding his abilities for a reason—there must be a plot. If I report this to the Second Young Master, I'll surely be handsomely rewarded!"

With that thought, he lost all desire to keep fighting Logan Clark. His eyes darted around, looking for a chance to escape. As for whether Hugh Rowe lived or died, he couldn't care less.

"Trying to run?"

Logan Clark snorted, unleashed Tiger Battle Four Forms again, and five fist shadows struck out at once!

It was as if five Logan Clarks attacked together—the power was immense! Jason Sun fought back with all his might but could only block two punches. The remaining three landed on his left shoulder, right chest, and lower abdomen.

"Ah—" Jason Sun screamed as he was lifted off the ground by the force and crashed heavily to the ground. But unlike Hugh Rowe, who was caught off guard, his injuries weren't as severe. He struggled to his feet, ready to turn and run.

Logan Clark wasn't about to let him escape. With a burst of speed, he caught up and landed a punch squarely on Jason Sun's back.

Jason Sun let out a miserable cry, spitting out a mouthful of blood as he crashed to the ground, groaning in pain, his cries mingling with Hugh Rowe's.

Because of Logan Clark's status as the legitimate eldest grandson, his courtyard was a standalone residence, quite a distance from the others. These two fights ended so quickly that no one else was alarmed!

Logan Clark sneered, grabbed Jason Sun with his left hand and Hugh Rowe with his right, and leapt swiftly toward the west.

That was a small grove where Logan Clark had buried Brian Lewis, just over a hundred meters from his own courtyard. After a few leaps, he arrived.

With a casual toss, Hugh Rowe and Jason Sun landed in front of Brian Lewis's grave.

"Kneel and kowtow!" Logan Clark said coldly.

"You little bastard, don't go too far! We were sent by the Second Young Master—he won't let you get away with this!" Jason Sun shouted, trying to sound fierce but clearly lacking confidence.

"Shut up!" Logan Clark flicked a pebble, leaving a bloody mark on Jason Sun's face. "Kneel!"

Hugh Rowe and Jason Sun exchanged glances, then slowly knelt before the grave. Both were thinking it was better to suffer a little now than risk their lives—once they got through this, Douglas Clark would surely avenge them!

"Apologize to Brian Lewis!" Logan Clark stood behind them, his shadow looming over Hugh Rowe and Jason Sun, making their hearts tremble with fear.

"Brian Lewis, we were wrong. Please be merciful and spare us!"

"We were just following orders—we had no choice!"

"We're kowtowing and admitting our guilt!"

The two of them kowtowed as they pleaded for mercy, with not a trace of their former fierceness left.
