Putting on the eternal set with chaotic attributes, William Harper's body was covered in black armor, mysterious lights and shadows slowly flowing across its surface, exuding a deep, destructive aura. In his hand, he held a long black iron spear, over two meters in length, jet-black and smooth as a mirror, plain and without any decoration. A powerful airflow formed a fierce vortex at the tip of the spear. The terrifying thing about this vortex was that once it entered any living creature, it would shred all the blood vessels and internal organs inside.
The spear's name: Annihilation.
Seeing that George Washington was about to fly away, William Harper bent his right leg slightly and started running. As he pushed off with his feet, his speed increased rapidly. Amidst the raging wind and snow, he darted across the wasteland like a snow fox.
William Harper could only hear the howling wind rushing past his ears as he drew closer and closer to George Washington. Suddenly, he pushed off with both feet, shooting up like a bullet, charging toward George Washington in the sky.
George Washington noticed William Harper and let out a dragon's roar, unleashing a powerful pressure upon him. William Harper's attack was sudden and decisive; George Washington didn't even have time to react and could only hope that the pressure would force William Harper back.
An overwhelming energy pressed down on William Harper, making it hard for him to breathe. George Washington, known as one of the mightiest dragons, truly lived up to its reputation. Yet, instead of retreating, William Harper felt his fighting spirit ignite in the face of George Washington's strength.
William Harper's hair whipped in the dragon's aura, and a surging energy rose from his dantian, flowing through his arm into Annihilation. With a loud shout, William Harper broke through the force field created by George Washington's pressure, drawing ever closer to its body. With a thunderous boom, Annihilation pierced into George Washington's flesh. A pillar of golden blood shot out, pouring over William Harper like mercury.
The sneak attack succeeded, and William Harper felt a surge of joy. But immediately, a fierce sensation of corrosion and burning spread from every part of his body to his brain, as if he were engulfed in a sea of fire. William Harper's body trembled in pain, but he gritted his teeth and endured.
Although George Washington's blood could harm William Harper, it was not enough to burn him to death. After all, with a god-king level body, he would not fall so easily.
George Washington's blood slowly flowed down William Harper's eternal armor, and the originally pure black armor took on a hint of silvery-white, shining brilliantly.
After taking a blow from William Harper, George Washington let out a miserable wail, violently swung its tail, and swept it horizontally at William Harper.
William Harper quickly pulled Annihilation out of George Washington's body, held it defensively in front of his chest, and braced himself.
With a loud crash, William Harper felt a tremendous force slam into his chest, as if struck by a heavy iron hammer. A sweet taste rose in his throat, and he spat out a mouthful of blood, sent flying backward by the impact.
George Washington's internal organs had suffered severe damage, sending it into a berserk state. It lunged at William Harper, smashing him away again and again. With each violent movement, the wounds inflicted by William Harper failed to heal, and golden blood kept spurting out.
Man and dragon clashed fiercely in the sky, golden rain pouring down from above. Wherever the golden raindrops fell, the swirling snowflakes evaporated into mist.
Amid George Washington's frenzied attacks, the eternal set and Annihilation spear on William Harper began to develop fine cracks. Soon, these cracks spread rapidly. With a crisp sound, the eternal set and Annihilation shattered into pieces, disintegrating in the sky and then vanishing.
After the eternal set was stripped away, William Harper wore no equipment, revealing his strong, muscular body.
A god-king level physique was indeed formidable. William Harper was surprised to find that his originally gray skin, after being baptized by the golden dragon blood, now bore a golden hue, as if coated in gold.
"Since my weapon is broken, I'll let you taste my fists." William Harper dodged a swipe from George Washington, stepped onto its claw, and with a sudden burst of strength, sprang up to its abdomen. His right hand formed a fist, and with a surge of energy, he punched hard at George Washington's belly.
After taking a blow from William Harper, George Washington's body paused slightly, and its other claw swiped at William Harper.
William Harper leapt aside, dodging George Washington's attack, and landed another heavy punch at its joint.
In pain, George Washington swept its massive tail furiously at William Harper.
Phantom Mirage Technique! William Harper's body suddenly split into three phantoms, pouncing at George Washington from different directions.
With a crunch, George Washington's huge mouth bit one of the phantoms into pieces. William Harper's real body flashed in front of George Washington's eyes, and his right fist struck hard at its eye.
With a squelch, like a water-filled balloon suddenly bursting, a rush of heat surged toward William Harper. Amid the blood, William Harper saw George Washington's eye shatter into pieces, like a glass ball smashed to bits.
George Washington let out a shrill wail, rolling through the sky, shaking off William Harper and fleeing eastward.
William Harper landed, steadied himself on the ground, wiped his eyes, and saw that George Washington was now just a black dot in the distance. He hurried to give chase.
He kept leaping across the plain, following the trail of blood on the ground. William Harper could determine the direction George Washington had fled—there was no way George Washington could escape.
