Chapter 11

The villagers stared at William Clark from a distance, unsure of what to do for a moment. They looked at William Clark with fear—greater fear than when facing bandits—afraid that William Clark might suddenly go berserk and rush over to kill someone.

William Clark glanced at the villagers in the distance, then shifted his attention back to the bandit’s corpse at his feet. He raised his hand and tore the corpse into even smaller pieces. Seeing this, the villagers retreated even farther, shivering uncontrollably.

“No training at all, no cultivation of dragon power, and yet he can still partially control himself.” Eric Carter couldn’t help but exclaim excitedly again, “What a wonderful body this is! Jack Carter, use the Illusory Dragon Technique to help him, make him even wilder, and have him kill these villagers. We can’t let our whereabouts be exposed, can we?”

Chapter Six: The Eight Dragon Clans

Jack Carter gave an evil grin, his ten fingers moving rapidly to form a new hand seal. A dragon pattern on his forehead suddenly lit up, and an invisible force struck William Clark right on the forehead.

Buzz! The dragon blood within William Clark began to boil again, and the villagers before his eyes started to twist and change! In William Clark’s eyes, each of them turned into bandits wielding broadswords. The scene of them desperately protecting their children became one of them grabbing the children to slaughter them.

Illusory Dragon Technique!

With a mad roar, William Clark charged at Er Gouzi’s father at high speed, his sharp claws slicing through the air, aiming straight for the man’s forehead. The honest farmer hugged his child tightly, using his own body to shield him, terrified that William Clark would harm his child.

“William Clark gege!” Er Gouzi cried out in terror. But in William Clark’s ears, it became a child’s plea for help, making him attack even more ferociously.

“Brother—!”

In the wind and snow, Edward Clark’s thin body trembled, standing barefoot on the icy ground and shouting loudly, “Don’t!”

The razor-sharp claws stopped less than half an inch from Er Gouzi’s father’s forehead. William Clark turned his head and saw the thin, shivering figure running toward him through the snow, barefoot and braving the freezing wind.

“Brother, don’t kill! They’re our fellow villagers! That’s Uncle Li.”

Edward Clark wasn’t running fast, but he was trying his hardest. William Clark had already stopped his attack, and the wildness in his eyes was quickly fading.

A look of astonishment appeared on Eric Carter’s wicked face. To be caught in Jack Carter’s Illusory Dragon Technique, even a true Dragon Xuan would be completely lost in that illusion. What kind of heart does this young man have?

“Brother…”

Edward Clark stumbled as he ran, his bare feet scraping against the ground. He accidentally scraped his foot, and blood began to seep out.

Eric Carter’s handsome, sinister face changed again, his slender eyebrows twitching repeatedly. “Forty percent… so he’s not the only one…”

Jack Carter stopped casting the dragon technique and looked at Edward Clark with curiosity. In this unremarkable little village, with no one from a great dragon-blooded family, how could there be such terrifying potential?

“Jack Carter, take them away.” Eric Carter glanced at the sky. “I smell the stench of hounds, and it’s a dog from the Jinnaluo family named Robert Foster.”

Robert Foster from the Jinnaluo family? Jack Carter’s evil, calm smile grew a bit more cautious. Ranked tenth on the Longmen Heroes List, Robert Foster? The one Eric Carter calls modest and humble, yet strong enough to defeat the number one, Yaksha Xuanming, on the Heroes List—Robert Foster?

Jack Carter, deep in thought, stepped over to Edward Clark’s side. The nearby villagers hadn’t even seen how this young man, who had been far from Edward Clark just a moment ago, suddenly appeared right beside him.

“My boss wants you to come with me.” Jack Carter’s wicked smile carried a gentlemanly air. He pressed his hand on Edward Clark’s shoulder; though it looked fair and delicate, it radiated immense strength. No matter how Edward Clark struggled, he couldn’t break free.

When William Clark saw Jack Carter appear beside Edward Clark with such evil energy, he pushed off the ground and shot forward, appearing in front of Jack Carter with the howling north wind, his claw slashing down through the air.

“My boss wants to take you too.”

As Jack Carter spoke, he raised his hand to meet William Clark’s dragon claw. A faint red dragon pattern appeared on his chin. The two forces collided, sending the surrounding snowflakes flying in all directions. For the first time, Jack Carter’s invincible dragon claw met resistance.

This is…? Jack Carter’s wicked smile now showed a hint of surprise. His Giant Elephant Dragon Power Technique almost couldn’t withstand a blow from this kid who had never even trained in dragon power? And this was just in a darkened state—how strong was he, exactly? His palm was actually aching! Just how many times had forty percent innate dragon blood multiplied his strength?

William Clark’s first strike didn’t knock down Jack Carter, so, purely on instinct, he lashed out with a kick straight at Jack Carter’s abdomen!

“You’re still too green.” Eric Carter appeared behind William Clark, a faint dragon pattern glowing on his forehead. He chopped William Clark on the back of the neck, knocking him out instantly.

“Take them away.”

Eric Carter grabbed the unconscious William Clark, ignoring the shocked villagers, and, together with Jack Carter and the Edward Clark in his grasp, quickly vanished from this snowy asura field.

Two hours later, two young men appeared again in the hellish village. They weren’t wrapped in any blankets, and the huge cloaks on their backs flapped loudly in the northern wind.
