Thirty thousand years ago, the Bo Tian Clan, who called themselves "gods," invaded the Spirit Domain. The hundred races rose up in resistance but were ultimately defeated. The human race was the first to surrender, and the other races soon followed suit.
For the next ten thousand years, all races were enslaved by the Bo Tian Clan, treated harshly, and lived under a shadow of terror.
The Bo Tian Clan's conquests did not stop there. Using the Spirit Domain as a starting point, they charged into various secret realms, making enemies everywhere and waging wars. Their strength was greatly depleted, eventually giving the hundred races a chance to strike back and utterly defeat them, forcing the Bo Tian Clan to flee far into the outer starry skies.
Thirty thousand years later, in an era when the Bo Tian Clan had become nothing but an ancient legend, a memoryless boy with Bo Tian blood was fostered in a small family, barely surviving, quietly awaiting the day his bloodline would awaken.

Chapter 1: The Boy from the Small Town
Ling Family Town.
At dawn, as the sky just began to lighten, the boy Ryan Carter got up mechanically. After a simple wash, he headed straight for the Ling family dining hall.
Dressed in coarse linen, Ryan Carter was thin, with a somewhat delicate appearance. However, his eyes were blank and hollow, devoid of any spirit, giving the impression that he had lost his soul.
Along the way, many young martial artists from Ling Family Town had also risen early. Many of the youths who saw Ryan Carter greeted him with friendly smiles.
"Ryan Carter, good morning!"
William Harper saw Ryan Carter walk in, grinned brightly, and waved in greeting.
Unfortunately, Ryan Carter seemed unable to hear anyone else. His expression remained wooden, his steps unceasing, as he brushed past William Harper and continued forward.
"Brother Feng, why do you bother talking to an idiot? You know he can't possibly respond to you, yet every morning when you see him, you still greet him?" Dressed in a bright yellow outfit, Grace Harper had a voluptuous figure, was in her prime, and looked quite charming. Her ample chest was provocatively prominent, stirring the imagination. She glanced at Ryan Carter with disdain and spoke casually.
Several young men and women from the Ling family nearby heard Grace Harper's words and their expressions turned cold, clearly displeased.
Grace Harper snorted, ignoring the looks from the others, puffed out her full chest, and wore a look of contempt on her pretty face.
Most of those young men and women were only at the fourth or fifth level of Body Tempering, and Grace Harper, who had already reached the sixth level, didn't take them seriously at all.
In her eyes, only William Harper, who had reached the seventh level of Body Tempering, was worth noticing.
William Harper frowned slightly. "Xiao Ying, you haven't been in Ling Family Town for long and haven't received any favors from Ryan Carter's grandfather, so you have your opinions about Ryan Carter. I don't blame you. But all of us Ling family sons were helped by Grandpa David Carter in one way or another when he was alive. Even though Grandpa David Carter passed away two years ago, we still remember his kindness. I hope you'll show Ryan Carter the respect he deserves, for our sake."
Grace Harper was taken aback. "His grandfather was that impressive?"
"Grandpa David Carter was an artifact forger!" William Harper said firmly.
Grace Harper immediately became respectful. "Mortal, Profound, Earth, Heaven, and Divine—each level is divided into seven grades. What grade was he? Did he forge spirit artifacts for the Ling family?"
"No," William Harper shook his head. "Grandpa David Carter only knew how to repair spirit artifacts below the fifth grade of the Mortal level."
"Oh wow, you scared me! I thought he was really something, but that's all?" Grace Harper patted her ample chest and laughed exaggeratedly.
"To us, that's already very impressive." William Harper's expression remained unchanged as he said seriously, "Five years ago, Grandpa David Carter brought Ryan Carter to our Ling Family Town and negotiated with our family head. In exchange for helping Ling family martial artists repair Mortal-level spirit artifacts, he asked for the mining rights to the many mines on Medicine Mountain and stayed in Ling Family Town with Ryan Carter."
"For the next three years, Grandpa David Carter took Ryan Carter back and forth between Ling Family Town and the mines on Medicine Mountain. During that time, any broken spirit artifact below the fifth grade of the Mortal level was repaired by Grandpa David Carter. As long as the grade didn't exceed Mortal level five, no matter how badly damaged the artifact was, he could restore it to its original state, with its power completely intact!"
"Whoosh!"
A streak of fire flared up on William Harper's wrist. The crimson ring he wore suddenly shone with a rainbow light!
In an instant, the crimson ring magically transformed into a hammer blazing with fire. The hammer was only half the length of his forearm, entirely dark red, with clusters of flame-shaped clouds branded on it like tattoos, radiating waves of scorching heat.
"This Firecloud Hammer of mine is a second-grade Mortal-level spirit artifact—my lifeblood. Three years ago, in the Extreme Cold Mountains, I was attacked by a spirit beast, the Ice Soul Python, and its icy breath invaded my body. The Firecloud Hammer helped me resist the cold, allowing me to survive by sheer luck, but the hammer was badly damaged. If it weren't for Grandpa David Carter's repairs, this Firecloud Hammer would have been scrapped long ago."
"Many Ling family members have had their spirit artifacts damaged just like me. Fortunately, Grandpa David Carter was there to repair them. Otherwise, the family's losses would have been disastrous." William Harper looked at Ryan Carter's distant figure and sighed.
"But he died of illness two years ago," Grace Harper said in surprise.
"Ling family people know to repay kindness! Ryan Carter is actually very pitiful. He came to Ling Family Town with his grandfather at the age of ten and was already like this. When Grandpa David Carter was alive, someone still took care of him. But after Grandpa David Carter passed away these past two years... sigh." William Harper's tone changed, and he couldn't help but sigh.
