Chapter 10

Two of the accomplices were ruthlessly kicked to the ground by David Parker, which only made the rest even angrier, shouting as they prepared to charge forward. Crashing at such high speeds and then falling from three or four thousand meters in the air to the ground—even with the cushioning airbags of the protective suits—was still quite dangerous. Even with the enhanced recovery abilities after fusing with the bio-parasite, it would be impossible to get back up within an hour.

With David Parker taking the initiative, some people felt fear and wanted to back out. But, intimidated by Henry Clark's usual authority, they had no choice but to grit their teeth and continue bluffing. At Henry Clark's roar, the dozen or so people surrounding David Parker immediately broke formation and charged in from all directions.

Standing nearby, William Carter saw the scene and didn’t dare step in to help. He quickly opened the ‘Sky Eye’ communication channel to call his close classmates for backup. After all, he had a good relationship with David Parker and was worried that David Parker would suffer against so many people.

‘You all think the “Chinese Ancient Martial Arts Integration System” can turn a bunch of idiots into fighting masters in a minute.’

Facing the oncoming group led by Henry Clark, David Parker showed no fear and called out easily.

With his rich fighting experience, David Parker naturally knew not to let himself be surrounded. As soon as the fight started, he accelerated at full speed to the right. At such high speeds, not everyone could keep up.

As soon as David Parker moved, among the people closing in from the right, someone immediately tried to block him, swinging a hand chop at David Parker’s left rib.

With a slight pause and a bend of the knee, David Parker kicked out. Legs are longer than arms, so the attacker would be hit first.

The opponent withdrew his hand chop, spread his fingers, and grabbed hard at David Parker’s ankle.

‘Huh! Grappling technique! Not bad at all.’ David Parker didn’t change his move, letting the opponent grab him easily. His body was immediately pulled forward.

But David Parker didn’t give his opponent time to celebrate. He twisted his body into a perfect arc, and with his free right leg, drew a semicircle and kicked the opponent’s shoulder, sending him flying. This was a deliberate move to avoid the vital area of the head.

With such a heavy blow, the opponent instantly let go of David Parker’s ankle and slowly descended to the ground, clearly in too much pain to continue.

Using the force from that move, David Parker changed direction and returned to his original position, causing the group to overshoot. Taking them by surprise, David Parker seized the opportunity—an elbow strike, a knee jab, a kick—three consecutive moves, knocking down three more opponents.

In fact, although the bio-parasites produced by the four major companies each had their strengths and weaknesses, their overall performance wasn’t very different. However, after fusing with the human body, individual differences became significant.

Originally, David Parker’s physical fitness was already several times stronger than an ordinary person’s due to his ancient martial arts training. After fusing with the bio-parasite, his body became even more formidable. Compared to the others who had also fused, the gap in physical strength hadn’t narrowed—it had actually widened.

After testing the strength of the group surrounding him, David Parker had a good sense of their abilities. He began confidently and boldly dealing with Henry Clark’s troublemaking gang.

David Parker’s skill in piloting the anti-gravity personal flight device was also among the best in the 416th district. With the vastness of the sky, a dozen people couldn’t surround him at all. After circling a few times, David Parker basically took down his opponents one by one. Henry Clark was so furious that he lost all his previous composure, his expression now rivaling that of a shrew from ancient times.

Eric Morgan and Michael Bolton were loudly ordered by Henry Clark to intercept the charging David Parker. But with a feint and a quick sidestep, both were kicked away in succession by David Parker. The two of them had been taught lessons by David Parker many times before and were well-experienced in being beaten.

At first, they could rely on their numbers. And after fusing with the bio-parasite, they had some confidence. But now, just watching David Parker dart around at high speed was enough to make them dizzy. Asking them to intercept David Parker—even if they had the guts, they didn’t have the ability. After taking a couple of kicks, Eric Morgan and Michael Bolton didn’t dare get close to David Parker again.

David Parker also knew to show some restraint. Those he knocked down at the start, he had held back. After all, if he kept sending people to the hospital, he’d end up in trouble himself.

In just a short while, David Parker had dealt with most of his opponents, leaving only Henry Clark and his two most loyal followers, Eric Morgan and Michael Bolton—just three useless leftovers. The whole fight had lasted barely over ten seconds, and only these three were still hovering in the air.

Clapping his hands, David Parker muttered to himself, ‘Didn’t expect it to be even easier than before. Fusing really is satisfying.’

Chapter 3: Deep Fusion

Slowing his flight, David Parker faced the three head-on.

Seeing so many of his subordinates taken out, Henry Clark instead calmed down, not anxious at all. He had his own plans. He’d known David Parker for a long time, and if he really wanted to rely on numbers to take down David Parker, he’d have brought at least fifty or sixty people. It wasn’t that David Parker was truly that formidable, but with too few people, there was no way to block him in the sky.

David Parker had an excellent sense of speed. In terms of piloting personal anti-gravity flight devices, there were fewer than ten people in the entire 416th district who could keep up with David Parker. And among those ten, not a single one cared to get involved.
