Volume One: New Arrival, Please Take Care of Me
Chapter 1: I Play the Divine Monk, You Guys Are Just Blind Monks
After playing ranked games for an entire day and night, Ethan Carter was working as a booster.
But suddenly, the world before Ethan Carter went dark, as if a mirror was shattering. The mouse he was operating, the computer screen he was staring at—all shattered. His head began to throb with intense pain.
Yet after the shattering, a new world appeared. Ethan Carter sensed that he had somehow inexplicably transmigrated.
"Lee Sin, what are you spacing out for? Get out of base." The sharp voice of a teammate came through his headset, snapping Ethan Carter back to reality. In that instant, he received an overwhelming flood of information, making his head ache with a dull buzz. As the information kept pouring in, Ethan Carter's pupils gradually dilated.
What the hell??!! Wasn’t he just boosting a client’s account a moment ago? Why did the scene suddenly change, and all his teammates disappeared?
Is this a parallel world? There are actually demons outside the city eating people? You can gain attribute bonuses and become a superhuman in a second by ranking up in League of Legends?
Everyone has their own attribute template, just like in a game?
There’s a ring of shadow next to the sun, called the Hall of Heroic Souls? Humanity relies on the League of Legends created by the Hall of Heroic Souls to gain power and fight demons?

This is way too fantastical! But... it actually feels pretty good. Ethan Carter, once the number one ranked player in the Chinese server, the top booster, the only player in the league to be permanently banned for life...
Here’s the story: Ethan Carter was a top player in the Chinese server. By chance, he and his best buddy mixed it up in the Korean server, and he was a true solo queue king who could go toe-to-toe with the demon king Faker. During his games, Ethan Carter realized, “I’m so good, I could be a booster!” That’s a multi-million project right there. He even formed a cybercafe team and fought his way to the LSPL league, but then the China league banned his boosting account. Rumor has it a female fan reported him after he turned her down, and netizens joked that if they were female fans, they’d be mad too.
Ethan Carter is still a single virgin to this day. He thinks, if he got a girlfriend, he’d have less time to play League of Legends. He can’t lose his number one spot in the Chinese server! Besides, how else could he maintain his peak hand speed after 20 years of being single?
After his boosting account got banned, Ethan Carter was furious. “Ban my account if you want, but you can’t ban my clients’ accounts! What’s the most important thing in boosting? Reputation!” How was he supposed to survive in the boosting community now? Fine, you ban my account, I’ll just dance with my teammates in front of the first tower and feed during matches. And so, he was permanently banned...
It hurt him even more than failing to confess to his crush back in the day!
Pulling himself together, Ethan Carter bought a jungle knife and a red potion and headed toward red buff. He was suddenly filled with anticipation for this world! And for this match, too—after all, Lee Sin is such a fun champion!
Ethan Carter: Get out of my way, I’m going to take on all ten of you!
Teammate Caitlyn: ……
Teammate Darius: ……
Teammate Twisted Fate: ……
Teammate Braum: ……
……
The patch seems to be about the same as the S6 preseason. Ethan Carter glanced at the items in the shop and got a sense of things. Starting red, red buff comes with a smite effect that heals and applies a sticky slow damage buff, so junglers who start red are usually stronger. The enemy team this game is ADC Lucian, support Thresh, mid LeBlanc, jungle Fiddlesticks, top Fiora. Overall, as long as Ethan Carter's Lee Sin and Twisted Fate get the early tempo going, this game will be much easier. Plus, Ethan Carter needs to truly understand the LOL level of this world through practice—this is his first placement match, the legendary Bronze pit.
With red buff on him, and deliberately not using smite when taking the buff, Ethan Carter headed straight for the enemy jungle. He glanced at the enemy Lucian and Thresh—they didn’t return to lane from the river. Here’s a detail: for purple side, after starting at gromp, the auto-path back to lane is through the bush behind the tower, while if you start blue buff, the default path is through the river! So Ethan Carter bet that the enemy Fiddlesticks started gromp and is now doing blue!
Ethan Carter didn’t think Fiddlesticks would skip blue buff and go straight for his own raptors, since Fiddlesticks relies on abilities to clear jungle camps.
Sonic Wave! Ethan Carter placed a ward in the blue buff, and the moment he saw Fiddlesticks, he landed a Q on him, smiting the low-health blue buff at the same time. At this point, Fiddlesticks only had a third of his HP left...
Damn! Fiddlesticks was stunned—he’d never seen a jungle path like this before. Who invades right at the start? Aren’t you supposed to clear your own jungle and then help your laners?! What the hell are you doing! My blue buff!
Fiddlesticks panicked and flashed backward, trying to escape the range of Lee Sin’s second Q, but he was too close to Ethan Carter—there was no way to get away.
FIRST BLOOD!
