Player What Are You Looking At (Lee Sin) has secured a kill on Cutie (Doomsday Messenger)!
What Are You Looking At (Lee Sin) is now godlike!
Doom: Lee Sin, you...! @#%%!
Chapter 3: Admiration, Amazement, Human Nature—No Exceptions
The purple team watched as Lee Sin was about to collapse all three lanes, making the game unplayable. Their own Lydia had completed her core items early, but still didn’t dare force a kill on Twisted Fate in lane. Doom had already been crippled. In the mid lane, Lydia tried to roam several times, but each attempt was thwarted by Lee Sin’s counter-ganks. Fortunately, she was a seasoned Lydia and didn’t throw away the mid lane advantage. On Lee Sin’s side, Twisted Fate had been bullied to death by Lydia in the early game, but now, with Lydia roaming elsewhere, he was happily farming in lane. If they didn’t group soon, and Twisted Fate and Lee Sin started roaming together, they might as well throw their keyboards into the fountain. With no other choice, they had to force an early teamfight.
Lydia: Prepare for dragon fight, clear the waves top and bot quickly.
Fiona: 1.
Lucian: 1.
Thatcher: 1.
Doom: 1……
Lydia: Doom, why do you sound so weak?
Doom: ……
Ethan Carter didn’t go for the kill. The enemy’s top and bot lanes started clearing waves at the same time, and with Fiona’s teleport ready, they were definitely planning something. It couldn’t be Rift Herald, so it had to be dragon!
Ethan Carter: Darius, be ready to assist, prepare for dragon fight.
Ethan Carter: Darius?
Ethan Carter: Darius???
Ethan Carter: Damn!!
Viewers watching Lee Sin’s first-person stream on the League platform were already laughing uncontrollably.
“Godlike monk meets the solo-queue prince elementary schooler!”
Ethan Carter stroked his chin. 4v5 at 17 minutes, but he was fully geared—Black Cleaver, Maw of Malmortius, and Tiamat in hand, unafraid of Lydia and Doom Bringer. It was still winnable! He immediately called for Caitlyn, Braum, and Twisted Fate to move toward the river.
Ethan Carter saw Twisted Fate about to face-check a bush while he was still above the dragon pit, ready to ward. He quickly pinged Twisted Fate to fall back, but just then, a long hook shot out from the river bush, landing squarely on Twisted Fate’s face.
Death Sentence! Thatcher’s Q skill, which drags the enemy for 1.5 seconds. That alone wasn’t the problem—the real issue was that Twisted Fate, Caitlyn, and Braum were all standing together!
Thatcher immediately activated the second part of Q, flying to Twisted Fate and popping his ultimate!
The Box! Doom Pendulum! The skill’s damage wasn’t much, especially since Thatcher wasn’t even level 11. The real danger was that any champion who hit the walls of The Box would be slowed by 99%! And there was no way Thatcher was alone in that bush!
Lucian activated his ultimate, The Culling!
Lydia unleashed her full combo on Twisted Fate! Q—Sigil of Malice! E—Ethereal Chains! W—Distortion! Twisted Fate was instantly deleted, only managing to throw out a single Q before dying, not even having time to pick a card. Meanwhile, Lydia, wary of Lee Sin, still held onto her ult-copied W—Distortion.
Luckily, Braum reacted quickly, casting his ultimate, Glacial Fissure, and raising his shield in time. Caitlyn’s health dropped but not too drastically, still above two-thirds.
Fiona’s teleport lit up, ready to join the fight!
As for Ethan Carter, the moment Lucian started his ultimate, he ward-hopped into the dragon pit, landing a Q—Sonic Wave—on Lucian from behind the formation. He instantly unleashed a full Q combo, two auto-attacks, and an E, taking Lucian out before he could even finish The Culling. Even using Heal didn’t help; at 17 minutes, Lee Sin’s items were just too terrifying! That’s also why Caitlyn was still alive, and Fiona had only just arrived.
Lucian immediately lost his cool: Doom, look at what you fed Lee Sin!! What were you doing just now, farming jungle!? Do you even know how to play?
Doom silently took the blame and kept moving toward the river, already a bit dazed. Meanwhile, the situation in the river was still grim for Ethan Carter’s team: Caitlyn was at half health, Braum was low, Lee Sin was full health, the enemy Fiona was full health, Doom hadn’t appeared but was definitely nearby, Lydia was down to a quarter health from Caitlyn’s autos and Braum’s combo, and Thatcher still had a third of his health.
3v4, Caitlyn’s items weren’t great, and she had no chance to finish off the low-health enemies. She could only retreat slowly under Braum’s protection. Fiona tanked Caitlyn’s damage and went all out, two auto-attacks finishing off Braum. In less than three seconds, Caitlyn also died miserably in the river, while Fiona still had more than half her health.
Only Lee Sin was left on the blue team, with Darius still split-pushing top and having already taken the first turret...
Viewers on the streaming platform couldn’t bear to watch anymore. This was the fate of one god carrying four noobs—no matter how good you are, you can’t carry them all.
“Lee Sin got screwed, but at least he’s already earned two hero star skill point rewards. Not a total loss.”
“Yeah, two attribute boosts in a row, that’s insane. The Lee Sin player is a monster.”
Fiona and Doom were now furiously pinging Lee Sin, signaling their teammates to follow up. Now it was time for payback! Revenge for old grudges! Lee Sin, your day has come!
After killing Lucian in the river, Ethan Carter didn’t join the teamfight, because he knew Lydia still had her ult-copied W in hand, and her Q had a ridiculously short cooldown—just six seconds, even faster with her cooldown reduction runes.
