Chapter 19

Ryan Grant was even more shocked than Owen Grant, clicking his tongue in amazement. “...Qi Sect! The legendary powerful martial artist!”

Countless villages within a thousand miles of the entire Daming Mountain hadn’t seen such a strong person in hundreds of years! Ryan Grant’s eyes were full of envy and admiration, sighing repeatedly.

The Qi Sect realm is the second major stage in martial arts. Martial artists at the Qi Sect level can walk on air, their bodies break the sound barrier, and their true energy can strike dozens of yards away! At this level, no matter how many people there are, they can’t surround and kill such a person—this is the beginning of transcending the ordinary and entering the sacred!

After their amazement, the two of Ryan Grant hurriedly gathered the village hunting team and rushed to catch up.

……

Grace Grant slowly regained consciousness. What she saw was utter chaos, as if a typhoon had swept through! The six guards, all wounded, surrounded her, while a pack of silver wolves growled lowly, closing in!

“Where is Logan Grant?” Grace Grant’s starry eyes widened, her delicate little face full of worry. If he died because she forced him into the mountains, how could she face the elders of Gu Family Village?

“Miss, Captain Harris was killed by the Silver Wolf King! Little Grant went to lure the Silver Wolf King away!” one guard, covered in blood, answered.

“Miss, Old Mr. Scott can only protect you up to here!” a middle-aged guard with his entire left arm torn open shouted loudly! With a roar, he charged at the wolf pack.

“Damn beasts!” The middle-aged guard sighed in his heart, “I’ve lost too much blood, I won’t survive today. Let my death win a future for my daughter!” With his only remaining right hand, he unleashed a flurry of blade light, his strength at the fourth level of Foundation Building erupting desperately! In just a few moments, he killed more than a dozen silver wolves, then let out a miserable scream as he was swallowed by the pack!

“Old Mr. Scott!” Grace Grant was, after all, only thirteen years old. The guard who had accompanied her for years was now devoured by wolves, and her delicate little face was streaked with tears.

“Boom!”

Benjamin Grant descended from the sky with overwhelming force, landing heavily behind the wolf pack. The entire forest shook violently, a deafening explosion resounded, and dozens of silver wolves were sent tumbling by the massive shockwave. An aura as mighty as a god or demon pressed down, and the wolves whimpered like puppies, tails tucked, crawling on the ground!

“Rumble!”

Only then did the rolling thunder of Benjamin Grant’s flight through the air reach the sky’s edge! The fierce wind whipped Benjamin Grant’s gray robe, making it rustle loudly!

“Grandpa!” Grace Grant cried out in delight, running and throwing herself into the old man’s arms, sobbing loudly.

“Old Mr. Grant!”

All the guards knelt to the ground. “We failed in our duty as guards and let the young lady be frightened! Please punish us, Old Mr. Grant!”

Benjamin Grant held his granddaughter, his face cold and stern. “It’s not your fault. Get up. Where is Brian Harris? Why don’t I see him?”

The guards spoke timidly, “Captain Harris... Captain Harris was killed by the Silver Wolf King! ...His body... nothing remains!”

A chill swept through, and the entire forest fell silent.

“Damn beast!” Benjamin Grant sneered coldly, raising a single palm like a divine weapon unsheathed. A sharp blade aura filled the entire forest!

The wolf pack seemed to sense the danger, whimpering as they tried to flee!

“Think you can escape?” Benjamin Grant slashed his palm sideways, and a tangible blade aura burst forth. Amid the ghostly wails and wolf howls in the air, he swept out with a single strike!

Suddenly, the world darkened, even the sun’s brilliance was suppressed! The chilling blade aura tore through the air, stirring a storm of blood and wind within thirty yards! Countless giant wolves were sliced in half with miserable screams, blood, entrails, and brains carpeting dozens of yards! Such is the terror of the Qi Sect’s power!

All the guards trembled in fear, their faces ashen!

Chapter 0013 The Death of the Wolf King!

“Grandpa!”

Like spring flowers blooming, the cold and grim atmosphere between heaven and earth vanished in an instant. Benjamin Grant turned around with his granddaughter in his arms and left the forest—such a scene was, of course, not for his granddaughter to witness.

“Grandpa! Logan Grant went alone to lure the Silver Wolf King away, hurry and save him!” Grace Grant suddenly looked up, almost forgetting, and secretly stuck out her tongue!

“Is that so? That boy is that bold?” Benjamin Grant became interested.

……

Logan Grant naturally had no idea that he had almost been forgotten by Miss Lianxing!

“Damn beast!” Logan Grant fled in a panic, but the experience of a Xingyi master’s boxing gave him tremendous help! Dodging left and right, he escaped the Silver Wolf King’s attacks dozens of times!

“Awooo!” The Silver Wolf King chased madly. This little bug in front of it was just too agile! Every attack was dodged!

“Whoosh!” Without even looking up, Logan Grant rolled lazily to the right. The Silver Wolf King was much faster than Logan Grant; if he hadn’t been able to sense the air currents and predict its landing spot in advance, he would have long since become wolf dung!

“This beast is far smarter than ordinary wild animals. I won’t get a second chance to strike! With a body strong enough to knock down trees, my only chance is to shoot through its most vulnerable eye for a one-hit kill!” Logan Grant judged calmly. “Damn! I’ve run back and forth with it for over a hundred miles, I’m out of stamina!”

Logan Grant stumbled and fell to the ground, sweat steaming off his body.

“Awooo!”

The Silver Wolf King’s blood-red eyes gleamed with bloodthirsty ferocity!

The silver wolf slowed to a stop, its body over a yard tall, shimmering like jade! The only flaw was the center of its forehead, where a charred fist mark was deeply imprinted, flesh and skin gone, bone visible! This was the mark left by Brian Harris!
