Chapter 14

The two great kings surrounded Martin and Julius Caesar in the center, while the two little princesses closely followed their own fathers. The residents of the mermaid royal city all looked up to watch, and the overwhelming power of the three mighty figures in the sky made it hard for anyone to breathe. Sea horses and other animals collapsed limply to the ground, their bodies weak.

All the merfolk subjects, upon discovering their great king, immediately knelt down. They believed that as long as their king was present, any problem could be solved.

“Mermaid King, ... Sea Dragon King, what a lively scene. Actually, I just want to take the lost child home, I have no intention of offending the dignity of the merfolk.” Martin said very politely. Facing two opponents while also having to protect Julius Caesar was difficult, especially since one of them was the Sea Dragon King—even one-on-one would not be easy.

As the three spoke, their powerful auras continued to rise. In order not to be suppressed by the other's aura, they had to keep increasing their own. This was the kind of aura only true masters possessed—if you could overwhelm your opponent with aura alone, there would be no need to fight. The powerful pressure forced the two genius princesses to retreat, but Julius Caesar acted as if nothing was happening; in his eyes, there was only Princess Eleanor, and Eleanor was also gazing intently at him.

The mutual, selfless expressions between the two only provoked Princess Clara, who angrily said, “Father, it's him, I want him!”

“Father, let them go, it's not his fault.”

But clearly, things were no longer simple at this point. A supreme powerhouse would not appear for no reason. The Sea Dragon King, though angry, also looked at his daughter with some affection. “Go wait on the side. This is your Uncle Ellis's territory; he will make all the decisions.”

“Clara, you go back too. I'll deal with you later.”

In the life of Emperor Alexander Hamilton, this was the first time he shouted out his own name and swore to make the girl he loved proud of it.

The two princesses were typical troublemakers, and this time was no different. But the two kings would not indulge them in front of their subjects. Two water spheres immediately enveloped the princesses and brought them down, where royal guards caught them.

“Why must such a master hide in the shadows?” The Mermaid King's magic had reached a silent and invisible level; a dispelling illusion spell radiated out at once.

Martin did not evade. They were not afraid of revealing their identities, so he let the magic dispel their disguises. He was gathering magical power—if he could break through the encirclement and enter the Bermuda Death Sea, they would be safe. Only they could survive in that devilish sea.

The Mermaid King and Sea Dragon King were both stunned by the appearance of Martin and Julius Caesar: human, one hundred percent human!

How could this be? How could humans live as freely as the sea folk? The reason the sea folk were invincible was that land races could not fight underwater, but what was this before their eyes?

The two kings saw the shock and worry in each other's eyes. This old and young pair must not be allowed to leave.

The Mermaid King nodded slightly and stepped forward. As the host, he naturally could not let his guest take action: “Will you surrender yourselves, or must I act?”

“Mermaid King, I’m afraid it won’t be so easy to keep us here.”

As they spoke, both their magical powers surged to a peak. If they were on land, Martin was ninety percent confident he could take down the Mermaid King, but in the sea, at most sixty percent—and he would be half dead himself. But the situation left them no choice.

In an instant, the sea began to tremble. With a roar, countless waves surged straight at Martin and Julius Caesar. These were no ordinary waves; if you looked closely, you’d see they were filled with deadly intent. Even the gentle water element, when unleashed, could be terrifyingly destructive.

The attack was a top-level water forbidden spell—Tidal Wave.

Chapter 5: Remember, My Name Is Julius Caesar! (Part 2)

Although not skilled in water magic, wind magic could mediate between fire and water. Suddenly, a giant underwater tornado appeared without warning. Water fueled the wind, and a whirlpool formed abruptly in the sea.

The fierce water magic did not achieve the expected fatal effect. Aside from the initial impact, most of it was swept aside by the tornado.

“A human magus!”

“Impossible! There are only three human magi, and we've all fought them. How could this be? Even if there were another, it would be impossible to survive underwater.”

In fact, Martin was suffering in silence. With such consumption, he could last at most an hour underwater. If the fight continued, they’d both be finished. Magi were still human, not invincible—they had to run when it was time to run.

After neutralizing the Tidal Wave, the tornado hell whirlpool swept toward the two kings, while Martin and Julius Caesar vanished without a trace.

The Sea Dragon King snorted coldly from the side. He hadn’t expected such a powerful opponent to flee—truly rare, but it wouldn’t be so easy.

...They didn’t even consider how brazen it was to fight two against one.

With a flash, the Sea Dragon King blocked Martin's path. Mastery of both magic and martial arts was a nightmare for any mage—even magi found such opponents troublesome, let alone when Martin was also protecting someone.

“I don’t wish to fight you under these circumstances. Surrender quietly, and I will guarantee your safety.”

Carlson arrogantly folded his hands behind his back. He was not exaggerating; with the Mermaid King and Sea Dragon King working together, no one could escape.
