Chapter 15

And the figure who appeared between the two was precisely Eleanor.

“Father, let them go, please don’t make things difficult for him.”

“Nonsense, move aside.” His own daughter was actually defying him, and King Drake felt his dignity slipping.

“No, Father, if you want to kill, then kill your daughter as well.” Eleanor shook her head resolutely, placing the sword against her own neck. When a trickle of blood appeared, Carlson realized his daughter was not joking.

“Fine, fine, fine, what a good daughter. I won’t interfere in this matter anymore. Your Ellis uncle will decide. Let’s go.” King Drake was so angry he could barely speak, but his love for his daughter still prevailed.

Eleanor, with tears streaming down her face, looked at Julius Caesar, “I’ll wait for you!”

Julius Caesar’s fingers dug into his flesh, his teeth clenched so hard they made a cracking sound. “Remember, my name is Julius Caesar!”

Martin grabbed Julius Caesar and channeled magic with all his might, creating a wave and disappearing swiftly, while the merfolk royal guards chased after them.

“Julius Caesar, Julius Caesar.” Eleanor stroked the necklace on her chest, silently repeating the name. She finally knew his name—a man she would wait for all her life, her knight.

Ellis could only shake his head helplessly. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to give chase, but his precious daughter was holding him back. The royal guards could not detain a top-level mage.

Seeing the usual willfulness in his daughter’s eyes replaced by determination, Ellis truly didn’t know what to say.

Clara was even angrier at this moment. He wasn’t from the She’ou clan, nor was he an ordinary commoner. A commoner could never have such a protector. But from beginning to end, that scoundrel hadn’t looked at her even once. Was she really so worthless compared to Eleanor?

In Clara’s hand was a button, torn off during the scuffle, which she had been holding onto. She didn’t even know why she hadn’t thrown it away...

The merfolk royal city guard was still in hot pursuit of Martin and Julius Caesar. The royal city guard was composed entirely of adult merfolk—a terrifyingly powerful magical corps. Only a small squad of a hundred was chasing Martin and the others. Merfolk were famous for their speed in water, and their combined water magic was even more fearsome.

Martin and Julius Caesar were not slow either. For magi, once you master one thing, you master them all. And Julius Caesar was naturally “fast”—without using any magic, he was even a bit faster than Martin in the water.

Martin’s figure flickered as he noticed something wrong with the water around him. Both his and Julius Caesar’s movements slowed down immediately. He knew this was a type of water magic, similar to a slow spell on land, but much more effective than those low-level earth spells.

An ordinary person would have suffocated under such magic, but for Martin and Julius Caesar, it was just a slight delay. Although Martin’s powerful exorcism wasn’t enough to immediately dispel such a massive spell, it was more than enough to ensure both he and Julius Caesar could get through.

As for the royal city guard, they hadn’t gone for the kill. The king hadn’t given such an order, and they had seen the princess’s situation as well. This was the most troublesome scenario: the opponents were clearly experts, and with their strength held in reserve, they could only watch as the two got farther and farther away.

Suddenly, the squad leader stopped. They could go no further ahead—there lay the forbidden zone: the Bermuda Death Sea.

They could only watch as Julius Caesar and Martin vanished without a trace. But this was explanation enough, since no creature that entered the Bermuda Death Sea had ever come out alive. It was the hell of super-level sea monsters.

Chapter Five: Remember, My Name is 恺撒! (Part Two)

Although the merfolk king and King Drake suppressed the incident, many people still witnessed it. Fortunately, the appearance of the masked expert overshadowed the matter of the two princesses, which was an outcome both sea kings could accept. As for that mysterious and powerful mage, he attracted widespread attention from all the royal families. Of course, most people didn’t believe he was human—no human could live so freely under the sea. After all, in the vast sea clans, far larger than the land, there were all kinds of experts. Some simply didn’t wish to become famous, and not all of them belonged to the six great royal families.

The merfolk king still sent people to guard several exits of the Bermuda Sea for months, hoping to spot the mysterious figure, but it was all in vain. Gradually, the matter faded from memory. Even the royal families wouldn’t come out alive from such a place.

The Bermuda Death Sea was the most terrifying of all mysterious sea regions.

Time always fades things away, or at least for others, such a minor episode passes and is forgotten, and life goes on as usual.

But for those who have changed, they simply bury this memory deep in their hearts.

Eleanor left with King Drake. When she left, Clara did not see her off. The first meeting of the two sea princesses ended with each harboring her own thoughts, but both had undergone great changes. The once carefree girls now had a goal—perhaps meaningless, even laughable, but many things in this world are hard to explain.
