Chapter 15

Just as everyone was feeling anxious, a strange shriek suddenly rang out. Little Emily Bennett furrowed her delicate brows, her almond-shaped eyes wide open, with a faint fury blazing within them.

At first, she didn’t know, but upon hearing that this guy was the “culprit” who had harmed her Little Charles, Little Emily Bennett could no longer hold back:

“Bastard! How dare you hurt my Little Charles, I’ll beat you to death!”

Chapter 6: A Gentleman’s Revenge

Little Emily wasn’t just talking—she meant to act. Charles Bennett knew all too well how terrifying her abilities were. If she really struck out in anger, Samuel Clark would probably die on the spot. That would ruin his own plans.

“Little Emily, don’t be hasty!”

Charles Bennett patted his own Little Emily on the shoulder, quickly trying to calm her down. “Let me handle this small matter. Don’t forget, we have an agreement. You’re not going to disobey me, are you?”

“Ah!”

Little Emily was greatly deflated, torn with inner conflict. She knew full well that her own Little Charles had been locked up for seven days all because of this bastard named Samuel Clark.

With her personality, anyone who dared harm her family would have been punched to death the moment she saw them. But she couldn’t ignore her Little Charles’s words.

“Fine then.”

Little Emily lowered her head, ultimately choosing to comply.

Only then did Charles Bennett smile. This was the Little Emily from his memories, exactly the same as in his previous life!

“Samuel Clark, let’s forget about the past. But you used my name to openly snatch decent women in broad daylight—did you really think I wouldn’t find out?”

Charles Bennett spoke calmly, glancing at Samuel Clark. That look was cold to the bone, and for some reason, it sent chills through everyone, making them uneasy, as if he had become a different person.

“This is bad!”

“He actually knows?”

“Damn it, who told him?”

...

Today, Charles Bennett seemed to have suddenly become enlightened—he understood everything. The group of spoiled young men all retreated, sensing that things wouldn’t end well today.

On the other side, Samuel Clark’s face was filled with shock and disbelief, but gradually turned calm, even letting go of his cheek.

To be honest, Samuel Clark never expected Charles Bennett to suddenly become so shrewd, as if nothing could escape his notice.

Everything he’d done before had been seen through.

“Charles Bennett, you brought this on yourself!”

Samuel Clark said darkly, his face grim.

Charles Bennett should never have slapped him in front of so many brothers—how could he keep his dignity now?

Even worse, he shouldn’t have exposed this matter. If he were smart, he would have just let it go, knowing what he knew. At worst, they’d just stop associating in the future.

Wouldn’t it be better for everyone to just keep up appearances?

Did he really think that being called “Young Master Chong” made him the leader of everyone?

Samuel Clark looked down from above, staring coldly at Charles Bennett, making no effort to hide the ridicule and contempt in his eyes.

“It’s over, Samuel Clark is angry!”

“No joke, better stay away—when Samuel Clark gets mad, it’s no laughing matter!”

“Last time, Samuel Clark crippled a noble at the Bone-Infusion stage. Charles Bennett is even weaker, only at the Blood-Infusion stage. If he angers Samuel Clark, he’s in for a world of pain!”

...

After the initial shock, the faces of the troublemakers all showed gloating expressions, eager to watch the show.

Samuel Clark was a scoundrel, but the others weren’t fools. If he didn’t have some real ability, who would follow him?

This guy was never an easy one to deal with!

Everyone could already picture Charles Bennett getting his teeth knocked out by Samuel Clark.

Samuel Clark was feeling very unhappy right now—extremely unhappy.

The young master of the Wang family was just a little puppet under his control. Now this puppet actually wanted to climb on top of him and act tough.

How could Samuel Clark tolerate that?

A series of crisp cracking sounds came from Samuel Clark’s body. Deep within his bones, his blood flowed like a stream, and a powerful force erupted from within.

“Bone-Marrow Infusion stage!”

Samuel Clark’s strength had reached the fourth level of Vital Energy, the stage of channeling energy and cleansing the bones. Compared to Charles Bennett, who was only at the third level and still in the Blood-Infusion stage, he was far, far stronger!

“So you refuse to recognize your place! You’re just asking for trouble!”

Samuel Clark sneered.

“Is that so?”

Charles Bennett retorted with a cold laugh, his eyes utterly fearless. Samuel Clark was taken aback—he didn’t know why, but at this moment, Charles Bennett felt completely different, almost like a new person.

There was no time to think. Samuel Clark stepped forward, his body moving like lightning, and threw a fierce punch. Crack! A crisp sound rang out—Samuel Clark thought he heard Charles Bennett’s bones breaking. But before he could feel pleased, cries of alarm erupted all around:

“M-M...Master Ma, your nose!”

The surrounding troublemakers stared at Samuel Clark’s nose in horror, as if something terrifying had appeared on it.

“What’s wrong with my nose?”

Samuel Clark was puzzled, the thought barely crossing his mind when a searing pain shot through him. His nostrils burned as if on fire, and a mix of sour, sweet, bitter, and spicy sensations, along with hot blood, gushed out.

“My nose!”
