Chapter 18

The catwoman’s supple body pressed up against him, lifting her thigh wrapped in luminous stockings and rubbing it against Jack Spencer.

“No, no, no, wait a second.” Jack Spencer quickly reached out and pushed her away. “My wound was just stitched up, I can’t do anything strenuous. Next time, next time for sure.”

Just then, Paul’s head, with an e-cigarette dangling from his mouth, popped out from between the pale bodies of three women. “Bro, stop making excuses. The D-type nanobots at the treatment center already stitched you up ages ago. Or do you actually like male Ds?”

As he spoke, he gave a shove, pushing an almost naked woman into Brian Carter’s arms.

“First time? Don’t worry, big sis will teach you.” The catwoman curled her tongue, rolling a blue pill on it, and tried to slip it into Jack Spencer’s mouth.

Suddenly, the room darkened. Jack Spencer tensed up instantly, his metal prosthetic grabbing the catwoman’s wandering hand.

Just as Brian Carter stepped in front of Jack Spencer with a gun, there was a “pop” from the distance. A spotlight lit up the stage, revealing the host in a purple sequin suit. “Bannyabo ne bassebo!”

“Switch to Chinese! My bro can’t understand!!” As Paul generously tipped a Little Dragon set, the host immediately switched to Chinese.

“Ladies and gentlemen!! Welcome to the 69 Club for a night of pleasure!!” His voice boomed.

“Next up, please enjoy a spectacular performance from Blues F4! Big Bird~~” As he said this, he swung his arm dramatically.

“Big Bird~~~~ spin, spin, spin!!”

With explosive music, six naked men with perky butts pressed close together, forming a “州州” formation, and chugged onto the stage like a train.

The men put their arms around each other’s shoulders, swaying their bodies to the rhythm, and then the “Big Bird” really started spinning.

Trying to please the crowd, the performers swung as much as possible toward Jack Spencer and Paul, doing their best to give the VIPs the best visual experience.

“Ah, my eyes, my eyes!!” Jack Spencer covered his nearly blinded eyes and ran out.

When the cold rain started falling on Jack Spencer’s head again, he grabbed the railing and gasped for breath.

Even though he’d left, the mentally scarring scene wouldn’t leave his mind. “I’m done for, my brain is ruined.”

“Why’d you come out?” Disheveled, with lipstick marks all over his neck, Paul walked over. “Bro, Linda Linda is heartbroken. She thought she wasn’t attractive enough.”

Jack Spencer scratched his wet hair irritably with his metal hand. “First thing you do when I get to the city is bring me to a place like this? Thanks a lot.”

It had all happened too fast, too intense—way more than he could handle after everything he’d just been through.

And no matter what, he still couldn’t accept that a woman’s private parts could glow.

Right now, Jack Spencer was truly exhausted, both physically and mentally. “Pay up, 30 @coins for getting you out.” He needed to settle down in this city before making any other plans.

“No money.” Paul said it bluntly.

“What?!” Jack Spencer turned around, reached out his metal hand, and grabbed the other’s collar. “Say that again—you have no money?!”

“Really, I don’t. Even if you kill me, I still don’t.” Paul looked completely unfazed.

“Bullshit, you’ve been streaming for so long and you dare say you have no money? You just ordered drinks, and you still say you’re broke!?” “Yeah, but I spent it all. Don’t you remember how we got here?”

“It couldn’t have cost a whole 30 @coins!!”

“And don’t forget, your hand is mine—Woll Tech’s black titanium combat prosthetic, you know how much that costs? Can’t that cover the debt?”

“Nope. We signed a rescue agreement. After your hand was stolen, this hand can’t be counted toward future payment.” Brian Carter chimed in from the side.

Just then, a floating car sprayed with black paint slowly drifted overhead.

“Calm down, don’t bring the BCPD over here.” Paul grinned and argued, “I never said I wouldn’t pay you back, just that I don’t have the money right now.”

Seeing how unbothered the other was, Jack Spencer knew unless he tied him up and forced it, he wouldn’t get anything out of him.

To be fair, he wasn’t wrong—the money for buying their lives from the company had indeed been paid by him.

And this old 6 was, reluctantly, a friend—pretty much the only person he knew in this city. Who knew when he might need a local’s help?

“Fine, then whenever you have the money, pay me back.” Jack Spencer knew he’d probably never see that money again, but as long as he said this, he’d have a reason to ask for help later.

As soon as he heard he didn’t have to pay, Paul was overjoyed, throwing his arm around him and shouting “bro, bro” nonstop.

Sensing the mood was right, Jack Spencer chuckled and immediately played along, “Since we’re bros now, if your bro needs something, you gotta help, right?”

“I really don’t have any money.” Paul’s face fell again.

“I don’t want money. The two of us just got to the metropolis and don’t have a place to stay. It’s not too much to crash at your place for a few days, is it?” Jack Spencer put his arm around Paul’s shoulders.
