Chapter 9

George Smith stood in front of the beast bones, trembling all over with excitement, his face a mix of joy and madness: “The legendary Dragon-Butterfly Demon King, I’ve finally found you! Give me your power, I am willing to be your loyal servant.” His eyes glowed blood-red as he burst into wild laughter, like a vampire bat about to suck blood, flying toward the beast bones.

Suddenly, I understood—this was what George Smith truly wanted.

“Boom!” From within the agate pillar, a burst of flames shot out, engulfing George Smith. George Smith let out a shrill, miserable scream and immediately caught fire: “Lord Dragon-Butterfly Demon King, I came to pledge my loyalty to you!” Staring at the beast bones in terror, he struggled desperately within the flames.

I laughed with delight. Bastard, you finally got what you deserve!

“Help me, help me!” George Smith rushed toward me in panic.

I nimbly dodged aside, and George Smith missed, the flames gradually devouring him. George Smith was still screaming: “Lord Dragon-Butterfly Demon King, today is your reincarnation day! Without my body, you can’t be reborn!” Suddenly, he stared at me, crying out in horror: “Could it be… could it be that you are…”

“Thud!” Before he could finish, George Smith was burned into a charred lump and collapsed to the ground. Damn, George Smith really is fire-resistant—he actually lasted that long! I walked over and gave him a hard kick, sending him flying.

The beast bones were right in front of me. For some reason, as I looked at them, I couldn’t help but walk forward step by step, my mind going blank.

After a long while, I reached out with trembling hands and touched the beast bones. With a thunderous crash, the massive object collapsed, smoke billowed up, and the white skeleton turned to powder, scattering everywhere.

The agate pillar miraculously shrank, becoming thin and short, and finally condensed into a fiery red pearl, which shot through the air toward me.

“Pfft!” The fire pearl shot into my forehead and disappeared.

A wave of fiery heat surged up in my chest, spreading through my body. I felt like a volcano igniting, heat boiling, blood surging, my whole body filled with energy. It seemed that with a single punch, I could destroy the palace before me.

The heat kept swelling, and I couldn’t help but shout. “Rumble!” The ground shook, the mountains trembled, the noise was deafening, the palace exploded, and I was lifted by a tremendous force, shooting straight upward.

Dazzling sights flashed all around me, countless strange and fantastic visions passing through my field of view.

“Bang!” I fell from the sky, landing flat on my back in a classic “wild goose landing on the sand” pose.

All around me were dense forests, fields of purple lavender, clear lakes, green mountains stretching into the distance, white clouds floating in a sapphire-blue, crystal-clear sky.

Clutching my aching butt, I almost thought I’d arrived in a fairyland. Especially when I saw three stunning beauties—three absolutely breathtaking, super gorgeous women!

The first stood by the lakeside, turned slightly away from me, her short golden hair like a blaze of light, dazzling to behold. Wet droplets slid down her snow-white, soft shoulders, dripping onto her plump back, sparkling in the light. Her rounded hips, long, fair, smooth legs, and delicate ankles were more perfect than any goddess in ancient paintings. At her feet stood a golden shield, reflecting her milky-white body in a shimmering glow.

My little brother saluted her first.

On the lake, a huge snow lotus was in full bloom, and the second beauty was half-reclining in its center. Her jet-black long hair hung down gracefully, drifting with the ripples of the lake, untouched by the mundane world. Her eyes, reflected in the water, were even brighter than the ripples themselves. Her snow-white robe couldn’t hide the undulating curves of her body. She curled up her legs, like a sleeping fairy, with a colorful long sword resting across her knees.

The third woman, like a seductive beauty snake, spiraled down from a big tree and walked toward me. Her skin was olive-toned, marked with faint patterns, her firm breasts standing high, the nipples like black-purple grapes, hard and perky. As she walked, her slender waist swayed gracefully, and through the tight, scaly miniskirt, the full, round curves of her hips were clearly visible. Beauty, you are truly alluring! My throat went dry, and I swallowed hard—she was like a ripe, juicy fruit, plump and luscious.

My little brother was busier than ever.

“You’ve finally returned, Dragon-Butterfly Demon King.” Her voice was sexy and husky; compared to her, the courtesan of the pleasure house was like a shriveled melon seed shell.

For a moment, the three beauties, six eyes, all fixed on my face. Suddenly, I felt something was wrong—their gazes were icy cold, even tinged with hatred and disgust.

I’m the Dragon-Butterfly Demon King? What the hell does that mean?

I stared blankly at the lake, and in the water, my reflection showed a head of fiery red hair flying wildly.

My hair!

I actually have a head of red hair?

“Dragon-Butterfly Demon King, you really know how to seize the moment, reincarnating back on the very last day.” The beauty with short golden hair spoke, waving her hand. The golden shield shattered, its dazzling light transforming into golden armor that wrapped around her breathtaking body.
