Chapter 6

An invisible force lingered in the air, and Grace Miller floated up, hovering half a foot above the ground.

Regarding the power of espers, Brian Carter looked on with envy, not caring about the reason for Grace Miller's departure.

“If you can find your other half in life, I will give you my blessing.”

Grace Miller suddenly turned around, her graceful figure drifting into the cold, deserted street.

Brian Carter didn’t linger, turning back to the hotel.

Why not go home?

He’d already paid for the hotel room, so he couldn’t let it go to waste.

However, the receptionist’s gaze was a bit strange.

Back in the room.

Brian Carter lay on the bed, catching the faint, fresh scent of a young girl on the bedding, with a lingering trace of warmth.

“This is what you call a real bed warmer.”

Brian Carter chuckled to himself.

He collected his thoughts.

Brian Carter stretched out his left arm, gazing at the vivid black-gold token imprint on it.

A mysterious, ancient aura washed over him.

In an instant—

Brian Carter’s consciousness spun, stepping into a mysterious space.

This time, he appeared beside the towering divine tree in the center of the plaza, not in that ancient meeting room with nine meditation cushions.

“Seems like the place I stayed last time.”

Brian Carter mused.

This felt a bit like logging in and out in an online game.

The token imprint was like a login device.

“Codename ‘Primal One’ (Level 7) has entered the local channel of the main universe sector.” A mechanical electronic voice sounded.

“The task you posted, ‘Destroy one moon of Azure Star,’ has been completed by codename ‘Starbreaker’ (Level 1). Payment: one official Level 1 task and 10,000 points.”

Hearing the notification,

Brian Carter’s body and mind trembled, unable to contain his wild joy and excitement.

This organization really exists!

A moon of Azure Star was actually destroyed because of his casual whim.

If he’d posted a task to destroy Azure Star itself, would he have ended up killing himself?

Brian Carter noticed a detail.

His codename was ‘Primal One’ (Level 7), and the one who completed his task was ‘Starbreaker’ (Level 1).

“What level am I in the organization?”

Brian Carter asked.

“Respected ‘Primal One,’ you currently hold the highest authority in the organization. Official members start at Level 1 and above, not including probationary members.”

The mechanical voice replied.

“Haha! I’m the boss of this super organization?”

Brian Carter was overjoyed.

Isn’t this too absurd?

An ordinary person like him, becoming the leader of a super organization that influences countless worlds?

“Then who are you?” Brian Carter suddenly asked.

Mechanical voice: “……”

After a two-second pause, it said, “I am the original intelligence of the ‘Origin Point Organization.’ All my actions follow the organization’s rules, and I will never do anything detrimental to the organization.”

Origin Point?

So that’s the organization’s name.

Brian Carter asked again, “Can you generate a manual with all the organization’s information for me?”

“I cannot. To prevent infiltration by hostile forces, it was stipulated at the organization’s founding that all functions, permissions, and core secrets must be explored by members themselves.”

So you’re suspicious of me, huh?

Brian Carter was about to complain.

At that moment—

A blond youth appeared beside him.

It was the ‘Junior Star Officer’ he’d seen before.

Brian Carter glanced over, and a relevant interface appeared above the youth’s head.

[Codename: Junior Star Officer]

[Level: 0, Probationary Member]

[Task Completion: 7/20 (Level 0 tasks)]

“Probationary member?” Brian Carter smiled kindly.

This was the organization’s young up-and-comer.

As the boss, shouldn’t he show some care?

“Little brother! Work hard, the organization won’t treat you badly.”

Brian Carter patted ‘Junior Star Officer’ on the shoulder in an encouraging, elder-like manner.

“Y-yes…”

Junior Star Officer looked a bit dazed, flattered and overwhelmed.

Brian Carter was very satisfied with Junior Star Officer’s humility.

He didn’t know Junior Star Officer’s real identity—otherwise, he’d be the one panicking.

And Junior Star Officer could never have imagined that the other party was just an ordinary citizen among the billions on his own ruling planet.

Chapter 4: The Three Ironclad Rules

Junior Star Officer was excited—receiving encouragement from the “ruler” was something he’d never even dreamed of.

In the organization, only members of Level 4 and above could be called rulers.

How powerful were Level 4 members? Junior Star Officer couldn’t even imagine.

But even the lowest Level 1 member could easily destroy a moon of Azure Star. If they disregarded the cost and ignored interstellar law, they could even decide the fate of billions on a planet.

If he could befriend such a big shot, Junior Star Officer might be able to speed up his promotion to official member, and use the organization’s resources and privileges to bring glory to his family.

“Your Excellency, may I ask your name?”

Junior Star Officer asked respectfully.

“My name? There’s no harm in letting you know.”

Brian Carter replied with a smile.

As the thought arose, Brian Carter’s tall, imposing figure shrouded in mist within the space displayed a codename above his head.

[Codename: Primal One]

A primordial aura from the origin of the universe swept over, making Junior Star Officer’s heart tremble and his legs unsteady.

Primal One.

What an ancient name!

The look of awe on Junior Star Officer’s face deepened, and his attitude became even more humble.
