Chapter 2

Emily Carter, eighteen years old, is not only the belle of our class, but also the school beauty. Maybe calling her the school beauty sounds a bit cliché, but her looks are famous throughout the entire university scene. Even the guys from No. 2 and No. 3 High know about her, and the so-called principal—an old pervert—from the art school across the street once sought her and her parents out, trying to persuade her to enter showbiz, saying she definitely had a bright future. Unfortunately, she wants to be a career woman who balances wisdom and beauty, and has no intention of relying on her looks to make a living!

I heard her mother is a doctor. Now, being a doctor isn’t anything special, and don’t go thinking about plastic surgery or anything like that—it's not popular in China. What I mean is, her mom really knows how to take care of her daughter. That skin, that figure—she absolutely doesn’t look like an inexperienced eighteen-year-old girl, but it’s not the kind of sexiness that’s been developed, either. It’s pure, natural beauty, a perfect figure with real curves, delicate skin that makes you want to touch it, and a fairy-like face that truly captivates everyone. Sigh, I’ve fallen for her too.

Our The Beautiful Carter, aside from studying, spends her time exercising. She’s not very interested in romance—maybe no guy has caught her eye yet. Usually, she’s very gentle, as long as you don’t show your pervy side!

Luckily, I know my limits. A woman like that is hard to handle, and I’m not up to the task. Unlike some people who love to rush in like moths to a flame. At least the moth gets a thrill in that moment, and its wish is fulfilled. But those brave, horny guys are much worse off—they get beaten up by “Old George.” Old George is our “respected” homeroom teacher. Actually, she’s a female teacher, but she’s not easy on the eyes and has a terrible temper, which is why she got such a classic nickname. But you have to admit, she’s a dedicated and responsible teacher!

Don’t get the wrong idea—this girl is trained in martial arts. Whether it’s kung fu, karate, or taekwondo, I’m not sure, but a few ordinary guys (meaning high school boys) would be no match for her. Still, maybe to avoid affecting her figure, she doesn’t focus on it too much—just uses it for fitness and self-defense.

Grace Bennett, although her surname is Ye, has no blood relation to me. I wish she were a relative, haha, but blood ties wouldn’t be a problem. She’s another beauty in our class. Although she’s not as devastatingly beautiful as Emily Carter, her figure is absolutely stunning—nothing to criticize. She’s more outgoing and sexy, and doesn’t mind a few dirty jokes. But if you think she likes you, you’re dead wrong. At least in my opinion, she’s the kind of woman who can play men, and it’s even harder to take advantage of her. I haven’t heard of her having a boyfriend, either. This kind of woman isn’t for just any man to enjoy or handle!

When it comes to looks, I’ve never seen anyone prettier than Emily Carter, but Grace Bennett’s strength is her figure—an absolutely slender, snake-like waist that could kill a man, as the books say, making you want to wrap your hand around it. Long, beautiful legs, and her chest isn’t small either—among high school girls, she’s definitely at the top. Absolutely nosebleed-inducing. She also puts a lot more effort into her appearance than Emily Carter—wants to look beautiful, but not so much that Old George finds her an eyesore. That takes some skill!

I heard her family is very wealthy. Her dad is a real estate investor who recently moved into our city, and her mom is a fashion designer—both pretty impressive!

These two women are the center of attention—one gentle, one charming. Tell me, with these two beauties sitting in front of you, in the middle of summer, how is a guy supposed to survive?

One thing must be made clear: these two beauties only transferred in during senior year. Why they ended up in the same class, then the same row, and finally right in front of me, can only be called fate. If everyone insists it’s because of my irresistible charm, I’ll just humbly accept it.

If these beauties have a flaw, it’s their grades. Emily Carter is a bit better, but still just average. Grace Bennett is much worse—near the bottom, though at least not dead last!

It seems there’s some truth to the idea that a woman’s looks are inversely proportional to her test scores. But then, why are the “dinosaur” girls in our class not doing any better?

But maybe it’s for the best. If they were perfect in every way, it would be too much—it wouldn’t be fair to us ordinary guys!

“Good afternoon, beauties! It’s rare to see you both working so hard!” Summer is great, and the beauties’ figures are even better. Ah, the wonders of youth!

I think this Emily Carter could rival Sarah, though her family situation seems pretty average. The country’s top tycoons wouldn’t stay in a small place like this. Grace Bennett is more like Lillian, except she’s not Japanese and is a bit too reserved. Sour grapes, I guess—I want what I can’t have. Sigh, just looking at them makes me itch, but I’ve got the desire without the guts.

“Tch, you’re just not used to seeing us work hard! We sisters are always diligent!”

“Aiya, too bad someone’s grades just never seem to improve!” I teased her sarcastically. After all, I’m not chasing after them, so I don’t have to be so careful!

“Oh, you stinky Henry Bennett, how dare you expose me! Take this!” Maybe because we’re familiar as front and back desk mates, we get along pretty well—especially Grace Bennett. Even though we share a surname, she doesn’t cut me any slack, like agreeing to be my girlfriend or something.
