I only calmed down after giving him a good beating, but thinking about it carefully, it makes sense—these two girls are just too outstanding. My only advantage is being close to them; in every other aspect, whether looks or family background, I don’t stand a chance. Even academically, I heard our student council president is pursuing Emily Carter, but it’s going terribly. Just how bad, I’m not really sure.
Well... sigh, thinking too much is pointless. It must be my mating season coming up. Hold steady, I must hold steady—absolutely refuse to be cannon fodder!
“Mr. Henry, don’t lose heart. Women, breakups, it’s all the same thing. I just got a new P6, you can have the first go tonight!” Walter had a look of painful sacrifice, as if he’d do anything for a brother.
I—I really wanted to beat him up again. I haven’t even started and he’s already jinxing me with his crow’s mouth, predicting a breakup. Wait, P6? Hahaha, I’ve been waiting so long! Suddenly, looking at Walter’s rabbit-like face, he seemed so handsome, even his two buck teeth were adorable—way more charming than Ronaldo!
Seeing my lecherous grin, William Clark suddenly doubted his own choices. Was he a lamb entering a tiger’s den?!
“Grace, what happened just now?” Emily Carter asked her seriously, with a hint of delight.
Grace Bennett naturally knew what she was asking about. During class, for some reason, she “saw” Henry Bennett always staring intently at Emily Carter, and unconsciously sent a note over. She never expected that, though he always had the desire but not the guts, he actually dared to “touch” her!
What’s even stranger is, she didn’t feel like resisting at all. If it had been somewhere else, she might have even allowed it, but definitely not in class. Yet at that moment, she just couldn’t move, and even felt a bit of enjoyment. Thinking back now, her whole body still tingled.
“Emily, I don’t know what happened either. The feeling at the time is really hard to describe in words!” Knowing her friend liked or maybe even felt grateful to Henry Bennett, she didn’t want her to misunderstand.
Luckily, Emily Carter didn’t mind. “Emily, did you not notice at all? Your Ice Queen side actually came out on its own. If I hadn’t suppressed it in time, the whole class would have been frozen into ice sculptures. And the aura of our kind that had disappeared appeared again!”
“Oh? You mean...?” Grace Bennett didn’t even know why she was so happy.
But Emily Carter shook her head and said, “It wasn’t him, it was William Clark!”
“What? No way, it was that buck-toothed rabbit?!” Grace Bennett looked utterly incredulous. Could it be they’d gotten the wrong person???
Emily Carter could only nod helplessly. “It’s very possible we made a mistake. The moment your Ice Queen side appeared, I sensed a surge of envoy aura from him, but for some reason it disappeared again. Strange!”
“No matter what, let’s stick to the plan and give that silly boy a chance!”
The two girls exchanged a knowing smile, more beautiful than flowers.
Chapter 3: Moonlit Beauty’s Date
Ten minutes is actually incredibly short, especially since our math teacher is a devil. With five minutes left before class, she walked in with a blank expression, slammed her thick lesson plan on the desk, pushed up her thick glasses, and swept the room with a sharp gaze. The classroom noise instantly dropped by several decibels, leaving only whispers, which, combined with the noisy cicadas outside, made the atmosphere even more stifling.
Of course, not everyone was like this. For example, our Walter continued his fantasy journey in the second world. As for the teacher, sigh, she was always fooled by his diligent appearance, convinced he was studying hard. The teachers had reached a consensus: for such geniuses, as long as he was reading something related to academics, they’d just let him be.
Walter quickly entered his own world. He really seemed absorbed when reading. Strangely, whenever a teacher approached, he always noticed immediately. Are all geniuses like this?
I just couldn’t pay attention at all. So much had happened, my mind was a mess of questions and fantasies—like beautiful girls chasing after me. While I was daydreaming, Emily Carter and Grace Bennett slipped into the classroom just as the bell was about to ring. All eyes swept over them, while the other girls looked on with disdain. To them, they had inner beauty waiting to be discovered, and we greenhorn boys just had poor taste. The guys all tried to act righteous, sneaking glances from the corners of their eyes—no one wanted to leave a bad impression on the beauties. I guess that’s just male instinct.
Our formidable math teacher was not swayed by beauty and gave them a fierce glare. But as the bell rang, there was nothing more to say, and the two beauties didn’t take her seriously anyway.
Jealous middle-aged woman!
I don’t even know how I got through the rest of the class. Maybe this is what they call a semi-comatose state—my mind was a chaotic mess, but I couldn’t even remember what I was thinking.
I glanced at Emily Carter, then at Grace Bennett. Sigh, both are great, but I still like Emily Carter a bit more, while my desire for Grace Bennett is stronger. Can love and desire really be separated? For a rookie like me with negative experience, that’s a tough question.
