Then I swung my fist with force, and the air in front of me made a loud "whoosh" sound, with a gust of wind blowing more than ten centimeters away—an effect even more amazing than I expected.

"My strength really did increase tenfold!" This surprise made me momentarily forget the meaning behind Julia's slip of the tongue when she called herself a demon lady.

The creature that looked like a beautiful woman slowly turned her head. Her features were indeed stunningly beautiful, but then she suddenly smiled, her mouth splitting all the way to her ears, revealing rows of sharp teeth that gleamed white even in the darkness.

The middle-aged man's body slid to the ground, lifeless, looking horribly dead, making me instantly cherish my own life immensely. "Where is the gathering point? I'll head there right away!"

Julia smiled sweetly and pointed into the distance, answering me, "The hotel you can see over there is the gathering place for newcomers to Devil's Island. Let me tell you, they offer lots of free services there!"

Without thinking, I started running. That hotel looked pretty far away, and I didn't know if I could make it before dark. For the sake of my life, of course I had to hurry as fast as possible.

Julia shouted encouragement behind me, but soon I couldn't hear her voice anymore.

Among ordinary high school students, my stamina is actually quite good. At least I don't have obesity, and I don't get out of breath after just a few dozen steps. But in a normal state, I could only run two or three kilometers at most before reaching my limit.
