Started off, and the following attempts became much easier.
Logan Clark selected a square area in the air, and everything inside it was grabbed and sent into the metal block.
Water droplets, leaves, branches, soil, stones...
Very soon, the already small metal space was filled with all sorts of debris.
But that didn’t matter.
Logan Clark repeated the process, and these things were thrown out of the space.
Moreover, inside, controlling things became even more effortless.
At this moment, a bold idea popped into his mind.
“Can I throw myself out too?”
After a round of operations, the result left Logan Clark very disappointed.
Anything that separated from his body, like hair, skin flakes, etc., could be thrown out, but he himself couldn’t get out.
It was as if, when selecting, he just couldn’t select himself.
“This is just a bigger cage.”
Like a prisoner’s iron window, he could see the blue sky outside, but it had nothing to do with him.
In the tiny field of vision, it was always the same, the rainforest scene repeating over and over.
But at least, he could transmit messages now.
Logan Clark had a sudden idea, transported a stone from outside, and threw it into the air.
The stone, under gravity, crashed into the pool.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
Next to the lonely metal block appeared a stone that kept falling.
Logan Clark didn’t know how much time had passed; when thirsty, he drank some dew, when hungry, he gnawed on some earthworms.
Finally, in this narrow perceptual space, something different happened.
Something was coming.
Two little black-skinned people, as tall as the metal block, stopped in front of Logan Clark’s cage.
The black little people wore tattered grass clothes, were short and thin, with long, pointed ears and sharp, poisonous fangs in their mouths.
Their bodies were painted with all sorts of colorful totems.
They looked just like goblins from a game, chattering away in a strange language.
Logan Clark was shocked, not just because he saw these fantastical creatures with his own eyes.
But because he could actually understand them!

Chapter 2: The Black Little People

Chapter 2: The Black Little People
“Try to see how to use it.” The two black little people looked very anxious.
One of them took out a stone knife from his waist, cut his own finger, and pressed the bleeding finger against the metal exterior.
“Useless.” The little person shook his head.
Logan Clark watched them in utter confusion.
“Use your finger.” The other little person ordered.
Hearing this, the one who cut his finger seemed frightened and tried to back away.
But the one who gave the order grabbed him, pressed his hand against the metal block, snatched the stone knife, and with a swift motion—
Blood and flesh flew, a finger was chopped off and fell to the ground.
The little person who lost his finger clutched his hand, wailing on the ground, blood pouring out.
Logan Clark was so scared he collapsed onto the ground.
“Luckily there’s still a layer of metal wall between me and the outside.”
But the little person who harmed his companion didn’t seem to be done yet. He grabbed the one on the ground and smashed him against the block.
He chopped off the palm, arm, ankle, ear...
Like dismembering, the little person pressed each of his companion’s body parts against the metal block one by one.
As if trying something.
While trying, the little person muttered to himself, “This isn’t right, this isn’t right either.”
Logan Clark was so shocked by the bloody scene that he couldn’t move.
What on earth are these creatures?
After trying all the organs, the little person opened his companion’s bundle and took everything out.
Like performing a ritual, he placed each item around the metal block on the ground.
Clothes, food, tools...
There weren’t many things in the bundle, and the black little person impatiently dumped them all out.
His sinister gaze fixed on the metal block again, as if expecting something.
“This isn’t right either!” The little person was clearly impatient, and viciously kicked the metal block.
The clawed foot kicked toward him, and Logan Clark instinctively dodged backward.
Bang!
The metal block didn’t budge; only the angry little person got hurt.
After a short rest, the little person picked up the items on the ground and pressed them against the metal wall, still not giving up.
Nothing happened.
Finally, the little person gave up, packed up his things, and prepared to leave.
At this moment, Logan Clark was unwilling.
“Gotta make it keep attacking.” Logan Clark was getting bolder.
The little person was about to pack up the items on the ground, but Logan Clark targeted one of them and selected it.
The berry on the ground disappeared.
One after another, the berries on the ground were quickly swept away.
The little person’s eyes lit up, and he hurriedly took out a handful of berries from his own bundle.
Logan Clark accepted them all, claiming all the berries.
“Even if this little person can’t save me, at least I can store some food.”
The little person dumped all the berries from his bundle and ran out of Logan Clark’s perception range.
When he returned, his hands were full of berries.
After storing some, the space inside the metal block was almost full, and Logan Clark had to leave some room to move, so he stopped transporting.
The little person saw that the berries in his hands were no longer disappearing, got happy again, put down the berries, and ran off again.
What is he doing?
When the little person appeared again, he was covered in blood, with deep wounds all over his body, staggering as he walked.
He came to the metal block, looking back with every step, and quickly hid behind the block.
Before Logan Clark could take a closer look, a huge impact hit.
The metal block was actually knocked over ninety degrees!
Luckily, the little person dodged in time, or he would have been crushed into a pulp.
