However, this outfit was now completely soaked with sweat.
“Even without a seed, I can still become strong.” Edward Scott felt utterly calm inside.
He stood alone in the corner, with no boys or girls coming over to interact with him.
Edward Scott swept his gaze around. Everyone instinctively avoided his eyes.
It was clear that these kids deeply despised his abilities, but because of the baron's authority, they didn't dare show it openly, so they simply chose to avoid him.
Edward Scott couldn't be bothered to interact with these little brats any further. He put the wooden sword back on the rack, tugged at his collar, and headed straight for the tower where his quarters were.
“Brother.” A sweet, childish voice suddenly called out to him from behind.
Edward Scott turned around.
Maggie stood by the sword rack, smiling at him. This fourteen-year-old girl wore a white top and a fitted short skirt, the hem just reaching her thighs. Her precociously full chest and snow-white thighs gave off a hint of charm and subtle sexiness.
Edward Scott felt that her outfit was quite similar to the professional attire of office ladies on Earth. It was clear that, although Maggie wasn't a noble and couldn't wear colorful clothes, she had put a lot of thought into dressing herself up in a unique way.
Chapter 007 Arrival 1
As one of Andrew's two closest younger sisters, Edward Scott naturally had to maintain the proper demeanor.
“So it's Maggie. What's up? Do you need something?”
“Can't I just chat with you if there's nothing going on?” Maggie ran over to Edward Scott's side, wrapping both hands around his arm. Her small chest subtly pressed against Edward Scott's arm.
“But actually, I do have a favor to ask…” She moved even closer, her warm body pressing against him.
Edward Scott had just finished training, his blood still flowing vigorously. Suddenly faced with this kind of temptation, he couldn't help but feel a little heated inside.
“What is it?” In Andrew's memories, Maggie hadn't been at the castle for long. Although Andrew had no designs on this distant cousin, it was clear that Maggie herself didn't see things the same way.
Of course, in noble families, relationships between cousins were quite common, unlike on Earth where there were legal restrictions.
Maggie liked to dress up, loved beautiful clothes and enjoying life, and even more so wanted to stand above her peers and live better. Her parents could also secure better jobs and treatment through their close relationship with young master Andrew. That was her motive.
Similarly, Andrew's other half-sister, Cyril, was the same. Although Cyril's mother was Andrew's elder, she was only the daughter of a craftsman, and her status was far less noble than Andrew's.
Currently, the eldest son was officially away serving in the military and hadn't returned. Although the second son couldn't inherit the title by the rules, the Rudin Kingdom was in chaos, with each territory almost completely independent. The inheritance of the title was entirely up to the baron's word, and the baron intended to pass the title to Andrew. In the future, when the baron passed away and Andrew became the head, if Cyril's relationship with him wasn't good, Andrew would have every right to drive Cyril and her mother out of the castle to live on their own. This was a terrifying prospect that Cyril and her mother absolutely couldn't accept. So Cyril took the initiative to get close to Andrew, preparing for the future. Before getting married, developing a relationship with her cousin that was closer than just kinship was the best way to secure her current life.
Maggie leaned against Andrew, matching his pace as they walked toward the tower in the residential area. Occasionally, they drew envious glances from those around them, as well as some disdainful looks. But neither of them cared.
“My mother’s legs have been hurting badly lately. I was wondering if she could be given a lighter job…” she said softly, sneaking a glance at Edward Scott.
Edward Scott didn’t reply immediately, just nodded slightly to show he’d heard. He led Maggie quickly back to his bedroom.
Cecilia was still obediently staying in the room, not having gone out. It seemed she was completely following Edward Scott’s instructions.
Seeing Edward Scott bring Maggie in, a hint of shyness appeared in Cecilia’s eyes.
Edward Scott opened the wardrobe and took out a change of clothes, both inner and outer garments.
“Maggie, take her to eat, then let her have a good bath and rest. Have the head maid give her a room of her own—just say I said so.”
Maggie had thought Edward Scott brought her up here for something else… but it turned out to be this. She looked Cecilia up and down, her gaze landing on her chest, and a hint of pride appeared in her eyes. Her chest was much bigger than Cecilia’s.
Although she felt a bit indignant, Maggie was actually a little afraid of the rumored “that kind of thing,” so she was happy to delay it as long as possible.
She let go of Edward Scott’s hand and went to pull Cecilia, who still looked timid and tried to shrink back.
“You two go ahead. Come find me when you’re done. I’ll talk to Howard about Aunt Alice’s matter.” Edward Scott suppressed his irritation and spoke calmly.
Being transported to a world like this was truly a harsh test of a man’s desires.
“Alright.” Maggie’s face lit up with a slight smile. She gave a small bow and led Cecilia toward the door.
