Chapter 6

No one knew how much time had passed before James Grant slowly regained consciousness, almost unable to stop himself from jumping up again.

Reaching out to check, he found both his clothes and chastity intact, and immediately felt relieved.

However, that mutated gorilla was sitting right in front of him, its legs spread indecently, with a huge mass between its thighs drooping onto the ground, looking like a big pile of excrement.

And he himself was facing that mass directly, almost coming into the closest possible contact with it.

The pungent stench assaulted James Grant's nose, making his stomach churn. He hurriedly scrambled to his feet, warily confronting the giant ape before him.

Graham Riley's brows furrowed slightly, her eyes full of grievance, even her huge upturned nostrils twitching with every frown.

After observing for a while, James Grant felt that something was off.

The once domineering and violent Graham Riley had completely turned into a docile lamb, and the look in her eyes seemed to carry a hint of pleading and flattery.

Although the wooden stake that had been stuck in her nostril had been pulled out, making Graham Riley's face look even more ferocious, James Grant could sense, in some mysterious way, that there was now an inexplicable connection between himself and this giant creature.

There was a flow of energy in his chest, as if he could control Graham Riley's life and death at any moment.

"You're awake?" A familiar voice suddenly came from behind, sounding both tired and pleasantly surprised.

James Grant turned his head and almost stopped breathing again.

The green-haired beauty from earlier was lying on her side on the ground, her wide eyes looking at him. The thin animal skin she wore could not conceal her alluring figure, and from this angle, James Grant could see the deep, fair valley of her cleavage.

The girl's red, lazy eyes showed that she had just woken up as well. It seemed that the previous battle had left her quite exhausted.

Glancing back at the motionless Graham Riley sitting on the ground, James Grant cautiously backed up to the girl's side.

"Huff, huff!" Graham Riley's eyes looked hurt, her mouth making a series of soft sounds as she gazed innocently at James Grant.

Chapter 4: Elf

"How are you feeling?" Facing such a beauty, James Grant tried hard to keep his composure. He squatted down and reached out to help the girl sit up.

A blush swept across the green-haired girl's face; this was her first time having skin contact with a man.

James Grant felt the smoothness in his hands, and the faint fragrance lingering at the tip of his nose gradually relaxed his mind. He glanced back again to make sure the giant ape was no longer a threat before finally feeling at ease.

Young Master Grant really wanted to take this opportunity to hold the girl in his arms, but when he saw the clarity in her eyes, he immediately felt embarrassed, quickly straightened up, and kept a certain distance from her.

But soon after, he regretted it, cursing himself inwardly for pretending to be pure.

"Thank you!" The girl, unaware of Young Master Grant's impure thoughts, blushed even more and nodded in thanks.

"What is this place?" James Grant reluctantly let go of her hand, and, under the pretense of wiping his face, brought it to his nose to sniff. A sweet scent rushed into his nostrils. Only then did he notice that he was actually in a dense forest.

The girl looked at him curiously, her big eyes full of confusion.

"Is there something on my face?" James Grant asked, puzzled, as he touched his cheek.

"Sorry, could you speak in Elvish? The Divine Invocation should have imprinted Elvish into your mind." The girl looked at James Grant a bit shyly, and after saying this, quickly turned her gaze away, not daring to meet his eyes again.

Young Master Grant's hand froze as he wiped his face.

Elvish... language?

No wonder the girl's speech sounded a bit strange. Now that he thought about it, although her words were very familiar and he could understand them, the pronunciation and syllables were vastly different from Chinese—it was a crisp and tongue-twisting language.

And yet, he actually understood Elvish?

What was this Divine Invocation? James Grant's mind was a complete mess, as if someone had set off a few firecrackers inside.

Magical beasts! Magic! Elves! Was this the so-called other world? The more James Grant thought about it, the more bitter he felt.

"I know you must be confused. Honestly, so am I!" The girl lowered her head, pressing her legs together in an attempt to cover the exposed parts of her tattered animal skin. "The Divine Invocation performed by the priestess was supposed to summon an elemental spirit, but this time... it was you! I can't sense any elemental spirit aura from you at all!"

James Grant no longer knew what to say. He knew his face must be very pale right now.

After a while, when the girl's body began to sway as if she was about to collapse, James Grant hurriedly reached out to support her. The girl was simply too exhausted; using the Divine Invocation had drained all her strength.

Looking around, James Grant spotted a large tree and directly scooped the girl up in his arms.

The girl was very light, but her face was bright red! Like a kitten, she trembled and nestled against James Grant's broad chest.

It wasn't until James Grant gently set her down at the base of the tree, letting her lean against the roots, that the girl's nervousness finally eased.
