Chapter 10

Grace Bennett was furious and swung her fist at Ryan Brooks.

At that moment, Emma Clark walked out of the kitchen: “Grace, Ryan Brooks, breakfast is ready.”

  “Hmph!”

Grace Bennett didn’t want to fight with Ryan Brooks in front of Emma Clark, so she snorted coldly and went back to her room to wash up and change clothes.

Emma Clark walked over to Ryan Brooks and asked, “What happened? Did you make Grace angry again?”

“Who knows? I was giving her some pointers on boxing, but she didn’t seem too happy about it.”

Ryan Brooks chuckled, turned to look at Emma Clark, and saw that she was wearing a different style and pattern of qipao than yesterday. Even though she had an apron on and her figure wasn’t visible, she still had a unique charm.

“She’s a taekwondo black belt—does she really need your advice on boxing?” Emma Clark smiled and pulled Ryan Brooks into the dining room.

After breakfast, Ryan Brooks took out a classic 1968 Phoenix 28-inch bicycle that his grandfather had left behind. The bike was old, and though it was wiped clean, it was covered in rust and creaked loudly when ridden, barely distinguishable from junk.

But he didn’t mind at all, because when he was little, he used to sit on the crossbar while his grandfather rode the bike and took him out to play. This bike carried the memories of his childhood.

“Can’t find your driver’s license, so you have to ride that old thing?”

Grace Bennett watched Ryan Brooks ride the 28-inch bike out of the courtyard, sipping her porridge and muttering.

Emma Clark smiled, a look of reminiscence flashing in her eyes: “That’s Old Chen’s bike. When Ryan Brooks was little, he always wanted to ride it, but he couldn’t reach.”

Grace Bennett was taken aback, and in her mind, she added another “sentimental” label to Ryan Brooks, finding him even harder to understand.

Riding the 28-inch bike into Dong’an University of Technology, Ryan Brooks looked at the students weaving through campus with books in their arms. He couldn’t help but sigh—if kindergarten counted as school, he’d only spent three years in school.

Looking at those youthful girls, he suddenly felt energized, and even pedaled faster.

The 28-inch bike sped along, immediately drawing the students’ attention.

Indeed, the bike was just too eye-catching—completely rusted, creaking loudly, with oval-shaped wheels that made Ryan Brooks bob up and down as he rode. It was impossible not to attract attention.

After circling the campus, Ryan Brooks realized he had no idea where the School of Computer Science was.

He decided to ask someone for directions. Scanning the crowd, his eyes suddenly lit up.

He saw a girl in a snow-white long dress, her hair in a ponytail, with delicate features and rosy cheeks like a porcelain doll. She hugged her books to her chest, exuding a pure student vibe.

That face, that figure, that aura—she was simply unmatched.

With a squeak, the 28-inch bike stopped next to the pure-looking girl. Ryan Brooks looked at her seriously and asked, “Miss, are you a fairy?”

The girl was startled, took two steps back, and stammered, “I... I’m not.”

“Ah, how could that be? Your looks and aura are exactly like the fairies in fairy tales.” Ryan Brooks said earnestly.

Hearing this, the girl blushed, took Ryan Brooks for a smooth-talking troublemaker, and hurried away.

  “Fairy, please wait.”

Ryan Brooks called out, but only saw a girl weighing about two hundred pounds next to her turn around and wave her fist at him: “Sweet talker, you’re clearly up to no good. Get lost.”

“School really is a great place. Even if the Lin Rou I have to protect is ugly, I still want to stay here.”

Watching the pure-looking girl disappear into the distance, Ryan Brooks smiled and rode off on his 28-inch bike to ask someone else for directions.

Chapter 008: Life Is Full of Unexpected Encounters

Ryan Brooks parked the 28-inch bike under the School of Computer Science building, went up to the third floor, and knocked on the door of office 319. According to the information, the first step after enrollment was to meet the homeroom teacher, Emily Walker.

  “Come in.”

A woman’s voice came from the office, crisp and efficient, yet with a hint of allure.

Ryan Brooks pushed the door open and entered, seeing a woman behind the desk quickly putting away some documents. She stood up, looked up at Ryan Brooks.

Homeroom teacher Emily Walker was unexpectedly beautiful, with striking features and a small mole at the corner of her mouth that added to her charm. She tried to look stern, but couldn’t hide the allure in her eyes, the glimmer in her gaze captivating anyone who looked.

Her figure was also excellent—red high heels, a professional suit, and incredibly attractive.

“Huh, she actually has the Fox Enchantress Physique!”

Looking at the homeroom teacher before him, Ryan Brooks was very surprised.

The Fox Enchantress Physique is extremely rare, naturally possessing a fatal attraction to men. Not only can it bring men immense pleasure, it can even steal their souls, making them obey her every command.

Ryan Brooks never expected to meet a teacher with the Fox Enchantress Physique at school. Even he had almost fallen for a woman with this physique once.

Although this homeroom teacher Emily Walker hadn’t yet cultivated her physique, she was already irresistible to ordinary people. Ryan Brooks couldn’t imagine how well-behaved the boys in her class must be.
