Jason Bennett put on a sanctimonious smile. If he said he would crush them, then he absolutely had to crush them!
……
Everyone was talking at once, making Emma Reed and Kevin Price from Class Three look utterly grim!
Where was the promised bottom lane stomp? Where were the 20 kills they said they'd get?
Emma Reed and Kevin Price were so angry veins were about to pop on their faces. The enemy Miss Fortune was clearly a noob, yet in less than ten minutes she’d already gotten four kills—what a humiliating disgrace!!
“You two play it safe and wait for my backup,” David Morgan said to Emma Reed and Kevin Price.
David Morgan really hadn’t expected the bottom lane to fall apart so quickly. He wanted to lose his temper, but managed to swallow it back down.
“Two turtles on top lane!” David Morgan cursed.
He’d tried several times to go top for kills, but those two were so cowardly he couldn’t find a single opportunity.
Glancing at the bottom lane, David Morgan decided to head down for a gank. If he didn’t help soon, the bottom lane would be completely crushed.
Losing a thousand yuan didn’t bother David Morgan much, but he’d talked a big game earlier—especially after Olivia Parker guaranteed they’d win. If he lost to these Class Eight losers, he’d never live it down.
Most importantly, he’d miss a golden opportunity to get closer to Olivia Parker by playing games together!!
Chapter 10: Tried to Take Advantage, Ended Up Getting Wrecked
“Boss is coming to ambush,” Emma Reed said, controlling Graves as he returned to lane.
This time he’d learned his lesson—not daring to strut around in front of Blitzcrank. Instead, he waited for David Morgan’s “Kha’Zix” to get into ambush position.
“Don’t rush, wait for them to come a bit closer,” David Morgan commanded.
David Morgan’s Kha’Zix hid behind the wall below the tri-brush, finger ready on Flash. As soon as Blitzcrank and Miss Fortune got a bit closer, he’d Flash over and pounce!
Finally, the minion wave pushed forward!
David Morgan caught Miss Fortune out of position, instantly Flashed over the wall—a textbook predator’s leap—lunging straight for Miss Fortune’s ample chest!!
At that moment, Garen and Graves charged excitedly at Miss Fortune!
Two grown men and an alien monster all had a greedy, predatory glint in their eyes as they lunged at her slim, sexy figure!
On the other side, Lily Harris was startled by the sudden appearance of Kha’Zix, her hands fumbling on the keyboard, unsure which skill to use.
“Shield, Flash, fall back!” Jason Bennett called out to Lily Harris.
As he spoke, Jason Bennett controlled Blitzcrank to rush in front of Miss Fortune, decisively using his ultimate to silence Kha’Zix, Graves, and Garen just as they were about to unleash their skills.
The 0.5-second silence didn’t do much, but right after using his ult, Jason Bennett knocked Graves into the air with E, stopping his burst damage!
Jason Bennett managed to control Graves, but Kha’Zix and Garen’s attacks still landed on Miss Fortune. Lily Harris’s reactions weren’t fast enough, and she didn’t Flash before Garen’s silence hit—her poor little butt got ruthlessly beaten by those two thugs.
Luckily, the timely shield absorbed some of the damage, saving her from dying on the spot.
Miss Fortune wiggled her hips and retreated in panic. During the silence, Kha’Zix and Garen kept chasing her, her HP dropping like crazy.
Finally, the silence ended. Lily Harris Flashed away, escaping with barely any health left.
It was only thanks to Jason Bennett controlling Graves that Miss Fortune survived—otherwise, if Graves had landed his full combo, she would’ve been killed before the silence ended.
Everyone behind them held their breath, only relaxing when Miss Fortune finally made it under the tower.
But to protect Miss Fortune, Blitzcrank was left behind to face the attacks of all three enemy champions.
If they couldn’t kill Miss Fortune, they’d just take out Blitzcrank instead. The three enemies unleashed all their skills on Jason Bennett’s Blitzcrank. Even with W “Overdrive” activated, his thick skin and high HP were whittled down to less than a third.
“Just a bit more, just a bit more HP!!” the Class Three crowd shouted.
“He’s about to reach the tower, kill him!!”
“Garen, use your ult!”
“Not in range!”
“Graves, damn it, missed his ult!!”
David Morgan glanced at his skill bar—everything was off cooldown, and Blitzcrank had only about a quarter of his HP left!
A full combo would definitely finish him!
Gritting his teeth, David Morgan controlled Kha’Zix to jump into tower range, unleashing his full combo on Jason Bennett’s Blitzcrank.
“Vmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm—”
Just as Blitzcrank’s HP hit rock bottom, suddenly a shield enveloped him!
He was about to die, but that shield saved Blitzcrank’s life at the last second!
David Morgan froze. The enemy only had a sliver of HP left—if Ignite was up, Blitzcrank would’ve been dead for sure.
But so often, it’s just that tiny bit of HP, and you have to watch helplessly as the enemy escapes under their tower.
David Morgan really wanted to auto-attack once more, but Blitzcrank was running like crazy, and since he’d already used Flash, there was no way to catch up.
