Chapter 3

When it touched the ground, it climbed up the nearest bizarre-looking big tree at an astonishing speed, and then, under my incredulous and dazed gaze, it frantically chewed up this plant—which was tall, at least five meters high, and so thick it was twice the size of my waist.

During the half-hour meal, Queen Mother devoured more than twenty big trees, countless insects living on the trees, several fledgling birds, two bushes, and even a huge amount of soil. Then, Queen Mother's body swelled up like a balloon.

The faint mental wave connected to my brain also became exceptionally strong. Queen Mother's memory cells opened up to me as if unguarded, and as I browsed through the countless records of powerful bio-beasts in Queen Mother's memory bank, I was utterly shocked beyond compare.

"Build a Radiant Archon for me!"

"No, I am only in my primary form, and the Radiant Archon is a level twenty-two creature. I do not have enough energy."

"A Soulflame Wielder will do too!"

"No, I am only in my primary form. The Soulflame Wielder is a level seventeen creature. I do not have enough energy."

After being refused repeatedly, I finally couldn't suppress my civilized nature and cursed, "Then what the hell can you make?"

"In another forty-five minutes plus two hours, I will undergo my first evolution. At that time, I will be able to produce all level-one bio-beasts, as long as the target to be created is less than 0.38 cubic meters in volume... and has intelligence below twenty-five..."

"I think your intelligence is barely above twenty-five! Fine, pick the most powerful combat type and make fifty of them for me."

"According to this planet's environment, the most suitable combat bio-beast is the Tibetan Mastiff! Manufacturing time: fifty minutes. Please wait!"

By the time the first Tibetan Mastiff was produced, more than three hours had passed. I was in the Lifeboat checking the data, and my head was about to explode from all the reading. These aliens were indeed very apologetic; in the Smart Brain of Lifeboat No. 15, they left me an astronomical amount of information. The memory cells of No. 15 not only contained a vast amount of information about Earth, but also data on all the planets they had passed during their journey, including the one beneath my feet.

But all this information was recorded in alien script. For the most part, I couldn't understand a thing. Helpless, I could only order No. 15 to translate all the data into Chinese for me.

With the massive amount of data in No. 15's database, it would be impossible to finish translating it all in less than seventy or eighty years. So, when I gave the order, I told the Smart Brain of Lifeboat No. 15 to prioritize translating the parts about Earth and this planet. I estimated that No. 15 could finish this part of the work within a year.

"Damn it, maybe I should just roast this first Tibetan Mastiff and eat it. I'm really starving!"

Seeing my malicious gaze, the Tibetan Mastiff immediately let out a whimper, its fur standing on end, and then, at lightning speed, it turned into a hairless, bare-skinned dog. Its body instantly emitted high heat, and in just a moment, it had roasted itself thoroughly.

"This thing is called a Tibetan Mastiff? And it comes with a self-roasting skill?"

A cold, mechanical voice sounded from inside the Lifeboat, answering my question: "As a combat-type bio-beast, it has some energy reserves in its body, but a level-one bio-beast has at most fifty energy points! As the highest authority controller of Queen Mother, this Tibetan Mastiff cannot disobey any of your commands."

Once again, I looked at that damned Lifeboat as if I were a dinosaur who liked lace, but this time I wanted nothing more than to give it a hard kick. "You bastard, couldn't you have told me earlier? I wouldn't have given such a cruel order to this poor creature!"

Reaching out, I grabbed the whole piece of dog meat, now crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, its aroma wafting everywhere. I grumbled, "There's no hope for Coke in this godforsaken place. Even a sip of water would do!"

The Smart Brain of Lifeboat suddenly responded, "Among level-one creatures, there is a program for a beverage cow. Queen Mother needs forty minutes plus one hour to build one. Would you like to interrupt the production of the combat bio-beast Tibetan Mastiff?"

"Interrupt, stop immediately, make me a beverage cow first!"

Hearing No. 15's introduction, I was overjoyed and immediately connected to Queen Mother's memory bank to look up information on the beverage cow. I don't know which alien designed this creature, but it can have six udders, each producing a different drink. I firmly chose Pulse, green tea, milk, Coke, apple, and 7-Up, then gave the order to start production.

On this strange planet, my first day was actually not too bad.

Chapter 3 Queen Mother, Underground Base

The space inside the Lifeboat was extremely cramped. After a night’s sleep, my whole body was sore and aching. As someone who loves to sleep in, being forced to get up early by the bed was truly a sad thing.

"I need a bed!"

When I shouted at the sky, the only response was the echoing air in the forest.

"God said, 'Let there be man,' and there was man. 'Let there be woman,' and there was woman. All I want is a bed, and this world actually refuses to provide it. I guess I really am an alien now!"

At dawn, I roared in the empty forest, startling countless unknown birds into flight.
