Chapter 15

Almost at the same time as killing the gray wolf, Brian Carter once again felt a warm current flowing through his body, and compared to when he killed the first gray wolf a few days ago, this current was even stronger.

Everyone present, just like Brian Carter, was frozen in place.

Katherine looked fearfully at the shattered pieces on the ground. If she had acted just now, she might have ended up like the gray wolf.

Jack's expression changed several times. This human, who looked even less robust than the village girls, actually possessed such a terrifying magical weapon in his hand.

“A human with elven blood! I don’t know how you managed to enter this Paradise Forest alive.” Jack paused and continued, “But I want to tell you, this is a druid matter. I hope you won’t interfere.”

Facing more than a dozen burly, fierce men, Brian Carter really wanted to say, “Then suit yourselves,” but when he saw the helpless look in Katherine’s eyes behind him, he sighed and said, “To be honest, I really don’t want to be some hero who shouts for justice whenever he sees injustice.”

A hint of a smile flashed in Jack’s eyes. Suddenly, Brian Carter felt a pain from behind—Katherine, in her nervousness, had unconsciously gripped his body tightly with both hands.

“But…” Brian Carter changed the subject: “To capture such a delicate beauty and take her back to behead her for some blood sacrifice, isn’t that a bit of a waste? We’re all civilized people here. Why not find that so-called barbarian you mentioned and sit down to negotiate?”

A fierce light burst from Jack’s eyes. If he hadn’t been wary of that strange iron tube, he would have already made a move to snatch her. Now, hearing himself being mocked, he immediately roared, “Human! In the outside world, you are kings! But don’t forget, this is the Paradise Forest you will never conquer! Since you ignore the Druids’ door of friendship, then…”

“Paradise Forest?” Brian Carter waved his gun barrel, interrupting Jack: “You mean there are humans outside the forest? That’s great! Tell me how to get out of the forest.”

Jack felt that Brian Carter was playing him. How could a human not know about the Paradise Forest?

“Attack!”

A dozen druids immediately spread out in all directions. Brian Carter’s finger went to the trigger, ready to attack, but the druids suddenly stopped moving.

Jack’s eyes widened as he looked at Katherine, who was barely covering herself with clothes, and after a long moment, he said, “Katherine, you… you and this man…”

“Um…” Brian Carter quickly interrupted Jack: “Let me explain, it’s not what you think. There’s nothing between us, I’m still a virgin!”

In the wilderness, a young and beautiful girl was standing almost naked behind him, with dried blood near the top of her thigh.

In this situation, Brian Carter’s explanation sounded even more feeble. The dozen male druids all looked at him with extreme suspicion.

Although they didn’t speak, Brian Carter could feel what their eyes were saying: “Yeah, right! Who are you trying to fool? You didn’t even wipe your mouth clean and you’re still trying to deny it? In this situation, you didn’t take the chance? Are you impotent at your age? Or are you gay?”

“Damn it! I’m not impotent, and I’m not gay!” Brian Carter waved the Sela gun in his hand and shouted, “I really am still a virgin!”

“He’s lying.” Katherine, a bit shy, pointed at the bloodstain on her thigh and said to Jack, “We’ve already done it, this is the proof. I’m no longer pure and not qualified to participate in the blood sacrifice. If the village needs, I can fight the barbarian as a warrior.”

Chapter 10: I’m Still a Virgin (Part 2)

The faces of the dozen male druids turned ashen, and a chilling murderous intent radiated from them.

Actually, in this situation, even if Katherine said nothing, the honest party would never be trusted. Once she spoke, the one who lied naturally gained all the trust! Compared to a man, a pure druid maiden who could bravely admit it—there must have been something between the two.

Brian Carter felt so wronged! Since coming to this world, he’d done two good deeds and saved two lives—one time he was almost killed, and the other time he was falsely accused of an affair. It seemed that being a good person wasn’t very rewarding these days.

“Katherine!” Jack roared furiously, “As a druid royal princess, you actually coupled with a human with elven blood! Burn her at the stake!”

The dozen druids all roared ferociously together, “Burn her! Burn her! Burn her!”

Princess? Brian Carter looked in surprise at Katherine behind him. This girl who could turn into a werewolf was actually a princess!? And they wanted to burn the princess? How could the life and death of a princess be decided by these druids? A human with elven blood? Brian Carter was puzzled—did coming to this world as an Earthling mean he was a human with elven blood?

All these thoughts flashed by in an instant. Facing the dozen fierce druids ready to attack, Brian Carter didn’t have time to think about all that nonsense. Surviving came first.
