Chapter 6

Olivia Bolton pointed to his own nose and said, “I’m willing to become the Julia Roberts and Katharine Hepburn of Huaxia.”

“You messing with me?” The muscles on Henry Mason’s face twitched as he spoke harshly.

“No, as long as there’s food, I’m in.” Olivia Bolton replied.

Henry Mason grabbed Olivia Bolton by the collar and cursed, “You’re fucking with me! Do you believe I’ll beat you to death?”

“Don’t hit me.” Olivia Bolton said nervously.

“I’m going to hit you, so what?”

“If you hit me, I’m afraid I won’t be able to control myself and might beat you up instead.”

“Kid, you’ve got some nerve talking to me like that…”

“I’m not lying, you really can’t hit me, or the consequences will be serious…” Olivia Bolton explained anxiously.

He had a Greedy Wolf Stone hidden inside him. Once it acted up, it would make him bloodthirsty and violent, and no one knew what might happen next.

“Today I just have to…”

Henry Mason was about to start hitting him. This kid was just too infuriating—if he didn’t beat him up, he’d feel he was letting himself down.

“Let him go!” Ethan Lincoln shouted angrily, “Or I’ll call the police.”

Henry Mason hesitated for a moment, then shoved Olivia Bolton far away and said coldly, “Get lost, get as far away as you can. Don’t let me see you again.”

Olivia Bolton looked disappointed, thinking to himself that no wonder all the information he’d absorbed said it was hard to find a job in today’s society. He just wanted to find a job for a boxed meal, and he almost got beaten up for it.

Ethan Lincoln squinted at Olivia Bolton and said, “You want to be a celebrity?”

“No, I just want to eat my fill.” Olivia Bolton said shyly, “I’m hungry.”

Ethan Lincoln thought for a moment, pulled a hundred-yuan bill from her bag, and handed it over, saying, “Here you go.”

Olivia Bolton’s eyes lit up at the sight of the hundred yuan, as if he were seeing a pile of bread and steamed buns. He reached out to take the money and said, “Consider it a loan. If I get the chance, I’ll definitely pay you back…”

“Cut the crap.” Ethan Lincoln interrupted impatiently, pointing at Henry Mason, “Do you know he’s a scammer?”

“Yes.”

“And you still want to go with him?” Ethan Lincoln asked in disbelief.

“I’m a scammer too.” Olivia Bolton said with a smile, “I figured if I went with him and got a boxed meal out of it, it wouldn’t be a loss.”

“Nutcase!”

Ethan Lincoln dragged her aunt Yvonne Sullivan forward, not wanting to talk to this lunatic anymore.

“I’ll definitely pay you back!” Olivia Bolton waved the hundred yuan in his hand and shouted loudly at Ethan Lincoln’s receding figure.

“No need.” Ethan Lincoln replied coldly.

But the mature woman beside her, Yvonne Sullivan, turned back and gave Olivia Bolton a slight smile—a smile so enchanting it made Olivia Bolton feel dazzled and bewitched.

Henry Mason stared at the beautiful figures walking away, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.

“Stupid bitch, refusing a toast only to drink a forfeit…”

“What did you say?” Olivia Bolton moved closer and asked.

“Kid, mind your own business from now on, or you’ll find out what death means.”

“I already know how to write the word ‘death’.” Olivia Bolton retorted, “Want me to write it out for you?”

“……”

Henry Mason snorted coldly, looking like he couldn’t be bothered to talk to Olivia Bolton. He glanced once more at the two beauties walking away, then turned and headed toward the crowd.

Olivia Bolton held the hundred yuan in his hands, grinning like a fool.

“A drop of kindness must be repaid with a gushing spring…” Olivia Bolton thought to himself, “Oh right, I forgot to ask that girl’s name and contact info. What was her surname again, Lin something?”

Olivia Bolton hurriedly chased after them, but with the surging crowd, how could he possibly find the two beauties again?

Chapter Four: Midnight Encounter!

Bottega Vea Boutique

Because of Yvonne Sullivan and Ethan Lincoln’s arrival, the entire store was temporarily cleared. As a VIP customer of this brand, this was the kind of respect Yvonne Sullivan deserved.

“So annoying.” Ethan Lincoln was picking out bags, still looking indignant. “Just wanted to go shopping, and ended up running into that scumbag. What bad luck.”

“It’s all over now, and you’re still angry?” Yvonne Sullivan’s demeanor was as gentle as an orchid as she comforted her.

“I’m angry for you, Auntie. You’re always so busy with work, and finally took some time to relax today, only to have your mood ruined by that jerk… Hmph, if you hadn’t stopped me, I would’ve beaten Henry Mason into a pig’s head…”

“See, I’m not even angry, so you shouldn’t be either. If you keep being upset, you’ll waste the whole day on it.” Yvonne Sullivan affectionately tapped Ethan Lincoln’s nose and said, “Help me pick out a bag, see which one suits me best.”

“Auntie, you look good with any bag…”

“Liar, I’m already old.”
