Chapter 13

He single-handedly ate more than two-thirds of the breakfast prepared for three people by the servants. Yvonne Sullivan and Ethan Lincoln had only eaten a small portion of the rice porridge in their bowls, and hadn’t even touched the buns or fried dough sticks.

“Glutton.” Ethan Lincoln had long been conquered by Olivia Bolton’s wolfing-down eating style and said with great disdain.

In her eyes, this was just like a little beggar entering a grand mansion!

“Ethan Lincoln.” Yvonne Sullivan shot Ethan Lincoln a glare.

“Hmph, I’m full.” Ethan Lincoln slapped down her chopsticks and said angrily.

“Full?” Olivia Bolton’s eyes lit up. He picked up the half-eaten rice porridge from Ethan Lincoln and gulped it down.

“Hey, why are you eating my food?” Ethan Lincoln was furious.

“Didn’t you say you were full?” He licked the rim of the bowl and said, “Can’t let it go to waste.”

“You…”

Yvonne Sullivan looked at Olivia Bolton with concern and said with a smile, “Xiaoyu, are you still hungry? I can have the servants make you some more food…”

“No need.” Olivia Bolton refused. “I’ll save some room for lunch!”

Yvonne Sullivan smiled and looked at Olivia Bolton, asking, “Your name is Olivia Bolton?”

“Yes.” Olivia Bolton nodded. “Remember, when we first met, I introduced myself.”

Yvonne Sullivan nodded and said, “Where are you from?”

“Jiangcheng.”

“Jiangcheng? You’re a local?”

“Yes.” Olivia Bolton nodded.

“Then how did you… end up living under a bridge? Don’t you have any family?”

“A few years ago, my parents disappeared, and our house was taken away, so now I’m homeless.”

“Your parents disappeared? You don’t know where they went?”

Olivia Bolton shook his head and said, “I don’t know.”

“It’s okay, you can stay at my house for now. Just treat this as your own home.”

“Hmph, that’s only if he has the nerve to stay.”

“Thank you, Miss Shen.” Olivia Bolton agreed readily.

“By the way, what did you do before?”

“Student.”

“Student?” Yvonne Sullivan asked with a smile. “You’re about the same age as Ethan Lincoln, so you should be in school. Which school did you attend?”

“Qingyun Middle School.” Olivia Bolton replied.

“What?” Yvonne Sullivan and Ethan Lincoln exclaimed in surprise at the same time.

Yvonne Sullivan was surprised because Qingyun Middle School was one of her businesses—she was the honorary chairwoman of Qingyun Middle School. She hadn’t expected Olivia Bolton to casually mention a school that was connected to her.

But Qingyun Middle School was a prestigious school in Jiangcheng. How did Olivia Bolton get in?

Ethan Lincoln was shocked because she herself was a student at Qingyun Middle School and knew just how hard it was to get in. This little beggar—was he joking?

“You really were a student at Qingyun?” Yvonne Sullivan asked.

“He’s a liar, right?” Ethan Lincoln sneered. “Any random stray wants to get into Qingyun?”

“Three years ago, I really was a student at Qingyun. It’s just… I’m afraid Qingyun has already expelled me by now.”

“Wait a minute…” Ethan Lincoln suddenly stared at Olivia Bolton with a strange look. “You just said your name is Olivia Bolton?”

“Yes.”

“You used to be a student at Qingyun?”

“That’s right.”

“You’re… that idiot?” Ethan Lincoln looked utterly shocked.

“……”

Olivia Bolton gave a bitter smile. He hadn’t expected that after all these years, people still remembered him.

“You two know each other?” Yvonne Sullivan looked at the two of them suspiciously and asked.

“Know him? How could I not?” Ethan Lincoln’s smile turned playful. “Who in the world doesn’t know him? Auntie, you don’t know, but Olivia Bolton was famous at our school—more famous than Principal Wang Ligong.”

“Really?” Yvonne Sullivan was skeptical.

“Auntie, let me tell you…” Ethan Lincoln said excitedly, grabbing Yvonne Sullivan’s hand and launching into her story.

Chapter 8: Take Good Care!

The reason Ethan Lincoln could remember Olivia Bolton wasn’t because she had a deep impression of him, but because the name Olivia Bolton was just too famous at Qingyun Middle School.

A top-ranked school in the city, filled with genius students as numerous as fish in a river, had actually admitted a “moron” with intellectual disabilities. Just imagine what a sensation that caused.

It was like a plucked country chicken among a flock of swans, or a rotten stone picked from a latrine mixed in among shining pearls…

It was hard for him not to be famous!

Whether it was good fame or bad, the name Olivia Bolton was thunderously well-known at Qingyun Middle School. Even though he had dropped out for two years, his legend still circulated in the school.

He was electricity, he was light, he was the one and only “idiot”…

No wonder Ethan Lincoln had such a strong reaction when she heard the name Olivia Bolton.

“So that’s how it is?” After listening to Ethan Lincoln’s story, Yvonne Sullivan looked thoughtfully at Olivia Bolton. So this was the infamous “idiot student” who once made a name for himself throughout the school?
