Chapter 10

“Wait a moment, let me add something.” Raymond Brooks wrote a few more words on the wooden blocks: Cao Cao, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Ma Chao, Huang Zhong, and Soldier.

“This is called Huarong Dao, a kind of strategy puzzle game. The largest block, ‘Cao Cao,’ represents a king from the ancient era, and the others are enemy knights and soldiers trying to block his escape…” Raymond Brooks explained the story and rules of Huarong Dao to Albert Harris in a language he could understand.

Huarong Dao is an ancient game that is almost a household name in China. With its endless variations and never-tiring gameplay, it is ranked by foreign intelligence experts alongside the Rubik’s Cube and Solitaire as “the three wonders of the puzzle game world.”

The more Albert Harris listened, the more interested he became, and he was just about to try it when Alice moved even faster, snatching it up and eagerly starting to play. Albert Harris watched anxiously from the side but didn’t dare to intervene. Fortunately, the thing was easy to make, so the dark elf quickly made a set for himself and gradually became absorbed in it.

The little loli didn’t have much patience. After repeatedly failing, she was already puffing up with frustration and asked Raymond Brooks, “Are you tricking us? This emperor can’t possibly escape.”

Raymond Brooks was absolutely confident about this: “Your Highness, I swear on my life, Huarong Dao is definitely solvable, and there’s more than one solution. The key is your own reasoning ability—the fewer moves, the better.”

Alice knew Raymond Brooks was afraid of death, and seeing how certain he was, she didn’t question him further. At that moment, a charming voice sounded from outside the door: “Master Albert Harris, I am Princess’s maid Julia Evans. May I ask if Her Highness Alice is here?”

Albert Harris was completely absorbed in Huarong Dao and ignored her, so Alice spoke up herself: “Julia Evans, I’m here, come in!”

If Alice gave people a sense of “super cuteness,” then Julia Evans was pure “seduction”—glossy, snow-white skin, a sexy face and red lips, an astonishingly ample chest, shapely and long legs, every part of her body exuding powerful allure. Her outfit wasn’t exactly revealing, but the tight dress made her stunning figure even more curvaceous. She didn’t need to do anything; just standing there was enough to stir up uncontrollable desire in any male.

Alice claimed to be of the Lucifer royal family, and her appearance was no different from an ordinary human, but Julia Evans was different—a classic witch, with a pair of curved horns on her head, small black wings on her back, and a slender tail behind her full hips. Yet none of this diminished her charm; instead, it added a unique, mysterious flavor.

A temptress! An absolute temptress!

“Little Princess,” Julia Evans bowed, “the Princess Royal is waiting for you in the study. Please come with Julia Evans.”

When Julia Evans bent down, the cleavage between her breasts became even more eye-catching. Raymond Brooks saw it clearly and felt his male hormones surge tenfold, swallowing hard and not daring to look any longer.

“My sister is calling for me at this time? Could it be she knows I secretly followed Anna Morgan to the Rainy Jungle?” The little witch looked guilty, then happened to see Raymond Brooks’s expression and giggled, “Julia Evans, your seduction is getting stronger. This human can barely control himself after just one look.”

Julia Evans glanced at Raymond Brooks with disdain: “Julia Evans’s physique is special even among succubi. This guy is so pathetically weak that even a kiss would drain all his energy.”

Succubus? That seemed to be a kind of female witch who could suck a man dry… Raymond Brooks found the description of this kind of witch in Arthur’s memories. His soaring desire felt as if it had been doused in ice water, leaving only chills.

Beauty is precious, but life is even more so.

Alice giggled, picked up her little basket, and left the laboratory with Julia Evans. Before leaving, she didn’t forget to take the Huarong Dao set with her.

Chapter 5: The Moved Dark Elf Master

In the next three days, Raymond Brooks finally enjoyed some peace. The dark, damp dungeon had been cleaned thoroughly, covered with dry straw, and he was guaranteed three meals a day. All of this, of course, was arranged by Stanley Reed on Albert Harris’s orders.

“Raymond Brooks, Master Albert Harris wants to see you.”

What was once delicious food was now a master to be served. That beating he took was for nothing, and the little imp was naturally very resentful. Watching Raymond Brooks swagger away, the little imp stomped his foot hard and gritted his teeth: “Damn guy, one day, the great Stanley Reed will eat your flesh and drink your blood!”

But for now, the great Stanley Reed could only obediently continue cleaning the dungeon—the place where that damned guy lived.

“Raymond Brooks, come quickly!” Albert Harris perked up when he saw Raymond Brooks approaching. Although this human’s name had been Arthur during the interrogation and was now Raymond Brooks, the dark elf master didn’t care about such trivial matters at all.

Now, Albert Harris was completely captivated by Huarong Dao and no longer doubted the authenticity of Grandmaster Wukong. Any thoughts of using and discarding him had been thrown to the wind.

Just a seemingly insignificant little reasoning tool had such magical charm. If he could gradually uncover those divine medicines and artifacts that could rival the gods… Every time he thought of this, the dark elf couldn’t help but get excited.
