Several Ironfeather Crows had already swooped in head-on. After Cassie maneuvered the mech to block their attacks with her shield, she swiftly brought down her sword, cutting down each Ironfeather Crow one by one.

Then, the mech’s thrusters roared, propelling it at even greater speed toward the Black Crow King in the sky!

Henry Sutton was already standing up, hands clasped behind his back atop the combat mech. Even as the mech shook and swung its sword, he stood as if on solid ground.

“Whoosh!” “Whoosh!” “Whoosh!”

The sound of arrows piercing the air rang out continuously. Thick red arrows shot like lightning, still carrying force after piercing through the bodies of several Ironfeather Crows, only losing momentum after passing through many of them.

Each arrow skewered several Ironfeather Crows. Though not yet dead, the crows struggled desperately, but the arrows pinned them tightly together as they plummeted to the ground.

The flock of Ironfeather Crows in the air also discovered the source of the deadly threat and began to launch a frenzied attack on the rooftop where Liam was located.

However, as soon as these Ironfeather Crows approached the rooftop, they were each cut down by William Foster with a single slash!

William Foster’s blade was also made of a special alloy, incomparably sharp. With his strength, he could even slice through the armor of a high-level Beast General-class Ironclad Scorpion.

On the other side, Cassie and Henry Sutton had already reached the Black Crow King!

The Black Crow King’s chest swelled slightly. After taking a deep breath, it let out a piercing screech at the oncoming combat mech!

The Black Crow King’s left arm was instantly covered in an incredibly hard black keratin, blocking Henry Sutton’s hand chop. At the same time, its right hand shot straight for Henry Sutton’s chest.

On the Black Crow King’s right hand, each fingernail was as sharp as a steel needle, glinting with a chilling light.

Henry Sutton, meanwhile, used his left hand to push and pull on the Black Crow King’s arm. With a force that seemed gentle but was actually overwhelmingly domineering, he easily neutralized the Black Crow King’s attack.

For a moment, the battle was at a stalemate!

Emily Carter looked at the spherical black shadow in the distant sky and complained, “That Blake, where on earth did he run off to at such a critical moment!”

She had originally been trying to persuade Blake to leave with her to avoid being caught up in the beast tide, but not long after the battle began, Blake disappeared!

Emily Carter had wanted to go up to the rooftop for a better view and had specifically told Blake not to wander off, but as soon as she returned, she couldn’t find him anywhere.

This gave Emily Carter quite a scare. If Blake got caught up in the battle out of curiosity, he’d be in grave danger.

“Dad…”

Emily Carter pouted, looking deflated, and said.

“Come home with me.” There was no reproach in the man’s words, but his tone was firm.

“But, Dad, my friend just went out. I’m afraid he’ll get caught up in the beast tide and be in danger…”

The man said calmly, “This time, Silver Watch and the Hunter Alliance have sent a total of four Awakened. There’s no need for us to intervene. This battle will be over soon.”
