Chapter 4

James Carter hadn’t even had time to recover before he felt an intense murderous aura. Then, his small chest was stomped on heavily by a foot. The sharp pain instantly made the little stars spinning before his eyes disappear. He then saw a tanned thigh, a silk miniskirt, and further up... James Carter immediately forgot the pain. Inside that skirt, he actually saw a blood-boiling pair of black lace-trimmed panties.

Blood-boiling, truly blood-boiling. When a woman wears a skirt, the last thing she wants is for a man to be squatting on the ground. But James Carter wasn’t just squatting—he was lying on the ground, looking up, seeing everything crystal clear. At that moment, he felt that even being thrown down was worth it—absolutely worth it.

“Who are you? What are you doing here?” A stern shout sounded in his ear, snapping James Carter’s soul back into his body. He looked up again and saw the woman’s ample chest. “No wonder it felt so good to touch just now, it’s really big,” James Carter commented inwardly, before finally looking at the woman’s face.

And when he saw her face, James Carter was dazed again. Although the woman’s face was full of hostility, there was no denying it was stunningly beautiful. Her hair wasn’t long, styled in a trendy bob popular among girls. Unlike the usual fair-skinned girls, her complexion was a healthy tan. Her eyes, when widened, looked even bigger and rounder. Her eyebrows were a bit thick, with no sign of grooming, giving her a heroic air. Her nose was slightly upturned, and her lips were a bit full, adding a touch of sensuality.

Unfortunately, the pain in his chest finally brought James Carter back to his senses. Being trampled under a woman’s foot—even with such a view—was still a humiliation for any man. Suddenly, he reached for the woman’s ankle with both hands.

Unexpectedly, the woman lifted her foot, dodging his hands, but as his hands swept past, she stomped down hard again, nearly knocking the wind out of James Carter. At that moment, he heard footsteps nearby, followed by a sweet, cute girl’s voice: “Sister Shen, who is this guy?”

“Xiao Mengfei, your accomplice is here,” the woman stepping on James Carter replied.

“I don’t know him, and by the way, let me remind you, I’m not a thief.” This was a graceful voice, magnetic and very pleasant to hear.

Chapter 6: New Landlord? What does that mean?

James Carter could still move his head at this point, so he immediately looked to the side. He saw two beautiful women standing next to him. One was a long-haired beauty with glasses, an oval face, fair skin, elegantly arched brows, and graceful manners.

The other, a long-haired girl, was the youngest, her lively big eyes blinking constantly, long lashes fluttering. Just looking at her made one feel cheerful and happy.

All three beauties were wearing thin pajamas, their figures faintly visible, especially the short-haired woman stepping on James Carter, whose figure was the most stunning.

“Sister Shen, you’re exposed,” the youngest girl suddenly said with a mischievous grin.

The short-haired beauty froze for a moment, then stomped hard on James Carter before gracefully stepping back, her eyes glaring fiercely at James Carter, as if she wanted to tear him apart.

Seeing all three beauties in pajamas, James Carter realized they clearly weren’t thieves. The only possibility was that he had gone to the wrong villa. He quickly scrambled up, shook the key in his hand, and, clutching his chest, said, “Sorry, I made a mistake. I actually have a villa here too, but it’s my first time coming, so I’m not familiar with the place.”

“Oh?” The three beauties were suddenly stunned, strange expressions appearing on their faces as they all stared at James Carter.

James Carter was startled and immediately backed away. He had barged into someone else’s home for no reason, and it was a house full of girls. At this moment, he wasn’t thinking about a romantic encounter, but rather hoping not to be held accountable. After all, people who could live here were definitely not ordinary. If he got beaten up because of a misunderstanding, he’d have no one to complain to.

“Ladies, I really entered your home by accident just now, I didn’t mean to intrude. I’m also a homeowner in this neighborhood—look, I even have the key. I live in Villa No. 9. Huh?” As James Carter was anxiously explaining, he suddenly grew confused. He was sure he’d checked the villa number several times before entering, and there was a No. 9 sign by the door. Plus, his key had opened the door. Could this be the house his uncle left him, and these three beautiful women were the ones who had broken in?

But that didn’t make sense—who would break into someone’s house wearing pajamas?

The youngest girl, the one who had been watching the commotion, walked up to James Carter, tilted her head, and looked him up and down. Suddenly, her pretty cherry lips curled into a bright smile. She reached out her hand to James Carter and said, “Hello, my name is Liam Clark, welcome, new landlord.”
