Chapter 6

“It's not over yet.” William Scott frowned, suddenly turned around, and pulled Grace Johnson into his arms.

  “Creak...”

As soon as he finished speaking, a harsh screeching and grinding sound suddenly echoed from all over the ship. Accompanied by a muffled “bang,” the floor-to-ceiling window suddenly shattered.

  “Ah!!!”

The startled cries on the ship instantly turned into waves of screams. William Scott lowered his head, listening to the sound of glass shattering behind him, his face turning completely pale.

“Su... William Scott, did you know this would happen?” Grace Johnson was trembling all over in fear, and couldn't help but ask in a quivering voice.

“I didn't! Hold on to me and don't move!” William Scott replied.

In any known kind of maritime disaster, there would never be a case where a giant cruise ship, on a calm sea, is suddenly squeezed and flattened out of nowhere!

And after the glass shattered, the sense of pressure kept pushing further into the interior of the ship. The cruise ship rocked as it continued forward, as if something was pulling it into a narrow gap between two walls... Yet looking outside, everything seemed normal—there was nothing there.

Not to mention dealing with such a disaster, it was impossible to even comprehend it.

Maybe, this wasn't even a maritime disaster at all...

William Scott had only done everything he could to prepare; now, he could only trust the visions he had foreseen.

In this disaster, he would not die!

And Grace Johnson, who was closest to him, would also be completely unharmed!

Positive plus positive... that should still be positive, right!

  “What is going on?!”

  “Help... help!”

“Oh my god... the ship is going to capsize!”

“What on earth is happening! ...Wuwuwu...”

Amid a series of muffled booms and the passengers’ screams, William Scott felt all the strength draining from his body bit by bit.

And Grace Johnson, in his arms, was trembling uncontrollably.

William Scott forced out a sentence, shouting, “Don’t be afraid! Stay here, we won’t die!”

  “Boom!”

With one final thunderous crash, William Scott's vision suddenly went black. His hand, which had been gripping the railing tightly, involuntarily let go, and he lost consciousness...

  Cold, silent...

After a long period of unconsciousness, the moment he woke up, William Scott suddenly sat up from the floor and looked around.

A few seconds later, he was fully awake.

After he passed out, it seemed the cruise ship had stopped. The place where he was lying was not far from the railing.

But how did he suddenly faint without suffering a heavy blow?

He checked his body—no injuries, just a bit weak.

William Scott looked to the side and found that Grace Johnson had also fainted, her hand still clutching his arm.

As he moved, she let out a groan and woke up as well.

“Are you okay?” William Scott shook his head and asked.

“I... I’m fine... I just don’t know how I fainted...” Grace Johnson replied, quickly struggling to sit up, and asked weakly, “Is everyone else okay?”

It seemed it wasn’t completely dark outside yet, but everything was shrouded in mist, so they probably hadn’t been unconscious for long.

By the faint light, they could see the floor was covered in shards of glass, and there were many splatters of blood.

Several figures were sprawled haphazardly on the ground. After hearing Grace Johnson's call, they all began to move.

  “I’m fine...”

“I’m okay too, just bumped my head, but luckily there’s no bleeding.”

“Someone help me up, my legs are weak.”

“Oh my god! What Scott said was true!” A female student, still shaken, stood up, stared blankly at everything around her, and then couldn’t help but burst into tears.

Grace Johnson went over and hugged her, gently comforting, “It’s okay, Emily Carter, you’re safe now...”

Emily Carter nodded, finally calming down a little.

At this moment, the way she looked at William Scott was completely different. This male student from the same university, who wasn’t even in her department and whom she barely knew, now seemed extremely reliable.

“Go help the others,” Grace Johnson said.

Emily Carter quickly nodded, “O... okay.”

Meanwhile, William Scott suddenly froze as he was looking around...

These scenes were exactly the same as what he had foreseen, but at the same time, there was a huge difference.

“Where is Henry Clark?” William Scott stared at a pool of blood on the floor and asked.

The blood was still fresh, and judging by the amount lost and what William Scott had foreseen, Henry Clark was seriously injured.

Where could someone that badly hurt have gone?

“Gone? That’s impossible... Wait, Matthew Brooks is missing too...”

“And Sarah Bennett, she’s gone as well!”

The other college students, now coming to their senses, all exclaimed in shock.

The names they mentioned were all people William Scott had seen injured in his visions.

William Scott had originally been afraid of seeing many wounded and dead, but what he never expected was that all those people had already disappeared.
