The number one Mage God in the game, Luke Carter, led his team to defeat the final boss of the expansion, the Abyssal Lord Norman Harris, and a game CG appeared.

The CG was extremely simple: an endless void, and within it, a dim sphere of light claiming to be the Lord of Radiance.

"Luke Carter, are you willing to save the continent of Ferroman shrouded in darkness?" asked the Lord of Radiance.

Such a grand, noble quest—of course, in real life, he wouldn’t dare accept it, but in a game, why not play the hero?

"I am willing!" Luke Carter answered with utmost seriousness.

"Then go forth."

And so, Luke Carter was tricked into the miserable continent of Ferroman.
