Henry Walker shrugged. “No, they didn’t do anything wrong. On the contrary, I think they did the right thing. If I were them, I’d do the same. Power that you can’t control is safer destroyed than left unchecked. You can’t blame them for that.”

“But, Henry, they’ve gone too far. How can one person possibly complete this kind of mission!” Sam was getting anxious. “How about this, Henry, the rest of us will go with you?”

“No, that won’t do.” Henry Walker waved his hand. “If you all come with me, I’ll be even more restricted. Don’t worry, just remember what I said. Help me take good care of that mother and daughter.”

“Don’t worry, Henry. If anyone wants to hurt them, they’ll have to step over the bodies of everyone from our Thirteenth Division first!” Sam said seriously at this point.

“All right, I trust you.” Henry Walker smiled gently. He remembered all the kindness his brothers had shown him. That’s why he treated them with the warmth of spring.

Henry Walker tucked the secret letter into his chest, then walked outside to the young officer standing there.

“Hey, wake up!” Henry Walker stretched out his leg and kicked him hard a few times, forcing him to wake up from his stupor!

“You, what are you doing! I—I’m telling you! My—my father is, in the mil—”

Smack! Henry Walker had already slapped him across the face.

“I don’t have time to listen to your bullshit. Now, I want you to do something!” Henry Walker said coldly to the young officer.

“W-what is it?” Unconsciously, the young officer had already submitted to Henry Walker’s aura.

“It’s about the mother and daughter inside.” Henry Walker pointed at the small house. “I’m telling you, from now on, you’re to secretly protect that mother and daughter for me!”

“Why should I take orders from you?” The young officer’s foolish bravado flared up again.

Smack! Another slap from Henry Walker.

“Listen to me. If anything happens to that mother and daughter, whether you did it or not, you’re dead! And not just you—your family will suffer too!” Henry Walker said forcefully. “So, your only option is to obediently protect them! And do it secretly! Got it?”

“I—I—I understand.” The young officer replied weakly. At this point, he’d lost all will to resist. This man in front of him was terrifying. Now, all he could do was obediently act as a free bodyguard.

“Good.” Henry Walker patted the young officer’s face. “Do a good job, I’m counting on you! Heh heh…”

Chapter 3: Am I Not Dead Yet?

They talked for a long time before Sam and the rest of the team dragged their half-dead “captain” back to report.

Henry Walker stood quietly at the door, looking at the poor door panel. Looks like it needs to be fixed soon, or it’ll be too late by tonight.

“David Clark.” Grace had appeared at Henry Walker’s side without him noticing.

“Hmm? Grace, what is it, where’s Lily?” Henry Walker asked.

“Asleep.” Grace replied, still in her usual cool tone.

Henry Walker smiled slightly. “What, are you hungry? If you are, I’ll go cook.”

“David Clark.” Grace suddenly called out again.

“What is it? Grace, you seem a bit different today.” Henry Walker squinted at Grace.

“Are you leaving?” Grace looked up at Henry Walker.

“Yeah.” Henry Walker nodded, and the atmosphere instantly cooled.

“Will you come back?” Grace suddenly asked, still as terse as ever, as if saying one more word would kill her.

“Yes! As long as I’m alive, I’ll come back!” Henry Walker answered firmly!

“Then, remember to come back. Lily is waiting for your stories.” Grace said softly, “I’m hungry, go cook.” With that, Grace turned and walked back inside.

“Heh heh. She actually cares about me now.” Henry Walker smiled happily, and all the bad mood from the mission vanished! Wait for me, Grace. Henry Walker thought to himself. When I get back, none of those guys who gave me this mission will get away with it! Henry Walker didn’t blame them, but their intentions to harm David Clark were clear. Henry Walker wasn’t a saint! He could never forgive someone who stabbed him in the back! When he returned, he definitely wouldn’t let those old guys off!

Maybe those old guys knew that if Henry Walker came back, it would be their time to go to heaven. That’s probably why they gave him such a mission! This was basically a suicide mission.

Night fell!

Henry Walker lay quietly at the edge of a dock in R Country. This was the place where J Country and M Country were transporting three M874 proton bombs!

Henry Walker’s mission was to deal with these three M874 proton bombs.

“Looks like I’ll have to detonate them remotely with Henry Walker’s electricity!” Henry Walker thought to himself. There was just too little information about the M874 proton bombs! Those guys up top who wanted him dead hadn’t given him any real details! So right now, Henry Walker had no idea about the blast radius, power, or detonation method. All he could do was try to stay as far away as possible, and escape at lightning speed after detonation!
