Chapter 11

“Shi~ Shi~ Slime!” the little creature finally shouted! A bubble, clearly much larger than before, shot out from its mouth. Unlike the previous crooked bubbles, this big bubble was incredibly fast, streaking like a meteor straight into the gaping middle mouth of the Cerberus!

As a super-tier magical beast, the death Cerberus could sense the power of this bubble!

Even it couldn’t believe that a low-level, low-tier magical beast like Slime could unleash a skill that even made it feel fear!

At that moment, as a super-tier magical beast, it suddenly remembered something very important! Something widely known even among super-tier magical beasts. Slime, golden, mutated, dangerous. Although it didn’t know why, it seemed to understand a little now.

“Awoo…” A mournful howl rang out, and the Cerberus collapsed straight down in front of Henry Walker. Henry Walker was shocked to discover that on the middle, ferocious head of the Cerberus, a crystalline shard of ice was slowly but steadily spreading. The once-tough golden fur was quickly covered in a layer of frost. The face of the Cerberus was clearly twisted in indescribable agony, its two front paws clutching desperately at its own throat, as if trying to force the bubble out of its mouth! The immense pain made the Cerberus convulse as if electrocuted.

Henry Walker stared dumbfounded at the giant dog that had fallen before him, completely stunned.

The Cerberus was still trembling, the spasms growing more violent—first its limbs, then even its tail began to twitch uncontrollably. Even the two other dog heads at its sides had started foaming at the mouth!

However, the little creature in front of the Cerberus also collapsed weakly to the ground again—this time, it was truly at its limit. There would be no more heroic comebacks!

Regaining his composure, Henry Walker seized the moment, rolling across the ground to the back of the Cerberus. While the giant dog was still howling in pain, Henry Walker grabbed a rib longsword from the ground with one hand, and with a sudden surge of strength from who-knows-where, managed a perfect kip-up.

Then, without hesitation, Henry Walker raised the rib longsword and stabbed it hard into the Cerberus’s anus.

With a muffled “thud,” the rib longsword went a third of the way in and stopped—Henry Walker was simply too weak now; even getting up just now had been a feat of sheer willpower!

“Awoo… awoo… awoo…” The Cerberus threw back its three heads and let out a thunderous, heart-wrenching wail. In the nearby bushes, a flock of partridge-like seabirds took off in fright.

Struggling to preserve its last shred of dignity, the Cerberus tried to stand, but slipped and fell again, never managing to get up.

Listening to its labored, fan-like breathing, Henry Walker grew even more nervous. With trembling hands, he tried to pull out the rib longsword stuck in the giant dog’s anus, but after two attempts, his hands kept slipping and he just couldn’t get it out.

Henry Walker was completely spent. He figured that even if he managed to pull out the rib, he probably wouldn’t have the strength to stab it in again.

Both Cerberus and Henry Walker were panting, Henry Walker lying on his back with his chest heaving, while the giant dog’s belly trembled like a drum.

In the end, it was the Cerberus that managed to stagger to its feet first. Its four legs wobbled, but it stayed upright, slowly and clumsily turning in place until the bone spear stuck in its rear disappeared from Henry Walker’s sight.

Henry Walker propped himself up halfway, staring defiantly at the Cerberus. After fighting to this point, the earlier tension was gone. Henry Walker felt a bit regretful—if only he’d had a bit more strength, if that stab had gone a little deeper, the Cerberus might have been KO’d.

But now, it looked like he might be the one to get KO’d.

The Cerberus stared at Henry Walker with its six lamp-like eyes, then all three huge mouths opened wide at him! Three different colored lights began to gather in the three gaping maws!

“Awooo~~~” Before it could finish gathering power, the Cerberus suddenly let out another tragic howl!

Its front legs buckled and it collapsed to the ground!

Henry Walker looked behind it and was shocked to see that behind the beast, the adorable golden little creature was weakly directing a group of Slime to ram into the rib longsword stuck in the Cerberus’s butt!

Although each Slime was tiny, and their strength was small,

When a whole group of Slime rammed together, their combined force was enough! This perfectly proved Chairman Mao’s saying: “Many hands make light work!”

Low-tier magical beasts have an instinctive fear of super-tier ones, but under the little creature’s command, the Slime seemed to have temporarily lost that fear.

And so, a mighty super-tier, badass magical beast—the death Cerberus—was humiliatingly killed by low-tier Slime, and in the most humiliating way possible—killed by being stabbed in the butt by Slime!

It, the great super-tier magical beast! A being on par with dragons! Yet this time, it hadn’t even used one percent of its true power! It could cast forbidden spells, but all it managed was a few fireballs, a few wind blades, and a few bolts of lightning!
